I personally think you should swap them i find a lot of stuff approaching and leaving my banks as for losing reading in motion could it be in clean water contact does the pad of this boat step up at all? I have a feeling that the lower you set the puck the better it will be also you need to note rising position and also floating position of this particular rig for angle of puck installed i have helixs my di reads fair to 35-40 depending a lot on water surfaces if you want it to read like a flasher at 60-70 better buy a flasher But shoot this isn't necessary at all as for gluing transducer down in bilge area it will work for the 2d sonar but will not work for di with clean images consider these thoughts and move the puck lower and in cleaner water

Seems with more anglers wishing this. More walleye introduced is the answer . Seems this would also thin the small KentuckIves and carp introduced in 2000 I accidentally caught a huge to me - walleye and a square bill
