  1. I like putting a small high quality barrel swivel in between my braid and leader. It's easier and I feel stronger than a line to line knot
  2. I crappie fished Sequoyah today and they are not on the banks or biting good. wt 62. tried upper lake and up river. water color good. caught a couple, no hogs, simply not on yet

  5. What did you catch them on hoglaw. Trying to decide whether I should troll, cast, or live bait
  6. I have no doubt they are there. Water was just too muddy
  7. I fished out of twin bridges the last two days. Also fished blue springs yesterday afternoon. Very few fish caught. Caught a white or two each time and a walleye this afternoon. Blue springs is extremely debris filled and muddy. Was hard to run a boat. Water is starting to clear a little above twin but not enough. No one was catching significant amounts of fish.
  8. Would bass or crappie fishing saturday morning even be worth it on sequoyah in the morning? If so where would you start.
  9. I have a few spots on points or humps that I know hold walleye that are about the size of a house. Up north, people jig for walleye. Does anyone jig for walleye down here?. Im thinking about trying it with a quarter oz jig tipped with a minnow.

  11. try 10 lb yo zuri hybrid. not terribly expensive and great diameter to strength ratio
  12. bull shoals lake boat dock sold them last time i was there.
  13. troll bandit 300 crankbaits from war eagle towrds 412 bridge. stay in 20 -25 ft of water. 150 ft of line out. chartreuse and red and pink baits.
  14. I saw some people fishing the tailwater of sequoyah right below the dam. I assume they were fishing for walleye. Can anyone shed some light on how this is done, baits used, ect?
