I crappie fished Sequoyah today and they are not on the banks or biting good. wt 62. tried upper lake and up river. water color good. caught a couple, no hogs, simply not on yet
I fished out of twin bridges the last two days. Also fished blue springs yesterday afternoon. Very few fish caught. Caught a white or two each time and a walleye this afternoon. Blue springs is extremely debris filled and muddy. Was hard to run a boat. Water is starting to clear a little above twin but not enough. No one was catching significant amounts of fish.
I have a few spots on points or humps that I know hold walleye that are about the size of a house. Up north, people jig for walleye. Does anyone jig for walleye down here?. Im thinking about trying it with a quarter oz jig tipped with a minnow.
I saw some people fishing the tailwater of sequoyah right below the dam. I assume they were fishing for walleye. Can anyone shed some light on how this is done, baits used, ect?
