  1. Bill, you amaze me. Blaming me for bringing Don into this when all your comments were directed at him in the first place. I was trying to defend my employee and his word which before you edited your post you implied he was a liar. We don't enhance our numbers. Just no one believes us, which is fine. That is the reason I don't post reports or share all the information that occurs on any given trip. Don is the only reason I have a fishing report on my website, and I am contemplating taking it off now. AS far as the Humminbird issue, I have never said anything negative against any other brand of depthfinder. I just told you how the Humminbird performs like no other product out there. I don't make many posts on here because you seem like you have to reply to something I say about anything I use. But when you stepped over the line at Don, even though you didn't mention his name. I knew, a couple guys that called me knew. That was enough for me. So you will be happy that this will be my last post here, knowing that anything I say to defend my employee or myself it will end up another fiasco like this.
  2. Nothing gets by Ol'Billy. Sure he caught some fish on the bottom too. Sometimes all the information is true. Out of 45 maybe 10 on the bottom. Still caught them on the bottom. Wow,I sound like a politician.
  3. Actually Andrew, Capt. Don located these fish with his 997csi Humminbird Side imaging feature. Using it to locate suspended fish on docks and trees. Then turning around and fishing dropshots in the same area. The nice thing about this feature is you don't have to go right over the fish to know they are there. All you have to be is within 200 ft of the fish. We set our units to scan 100ft out each side of the boat. Makes it easier to find the fish that are suspended. The verticle fishing them with the 957c you can see the dropshot fall to the fish. Locating these bigger groups of fish is key to higher numbers.
  4. May not be twice as good. Maybe twice as lucky. The Humminbird finds them, the drop shot catches them. 25-30 ft deep suspended
  5. Why Bill, do you have a lowrance I can tie on my string?
  6. Bill, All Guides on the White River use Lowrance? Not so! Capt. Don and I use Humminbird Products. The 987C is an awsome unit and the side imaging technology is far above anything the competition has. I can even find your secret brush piles by just getting within 200 ft of them. Humminbird taught this old dog a new trick. Been using them for 2 years now and will never go back. Many of the other guides have been asking me about Humminbird products and their interest is peaking and soon there will be a change. '
