  1. Went out this morning and stopped on point 25. Saw some top water swirls so I threw a White Ice Fluke into one. Nailed a keeper K. Sat on the point and caught 13 total. The bass would push shad up to the top and then crash them. Then it would die down for a few minutes and they would regroup and push them up again. The bite died off about 8:45. Surprised to see it that late in the day.
  2. The road to turn off of hwy J on is Farm Road 2274 in case you didn't know. The road splits at airport. Keep to left and go to 2nd Brushy Lane sign. Right on Brushy Lane then left at Private Road sign. Check it on Google Earth. BTW, if you need a fishing buddy for the day I'm usually available if I'm not already out. Take care and be safe.
  3. Champ, you ever try the ramp past Table Rock airport off hwy J in Owl Creek? Its on the way to Viney and no fees. I use it loading and unloading my pontoon for the season.
  4. Today I noticed someone put an Ozarks Anglers bumper sticker on the cart corral sign at Harter House in Kimberling City. It's pretty faded out. If someone has a new one I'll be glad to replace it. Was surprised to notice it.
  5. What a nice one. Way to go. I was out today and just as my lure got to the boat something hit it. I set the hook on a 6" bass and jerked him clean outta the water and over the boat. Had to chuckle at that one.
  6. Caught on watermelon red tube. Fishing rock bluff around point 25 and came on an area that had a rock slide holding several fish. This was biggest.
  7. Old Plug--you don't own a shock collar for your dog, do ya? Sorry, couldn't pass that one up. Just kidding.
  8. rps, you're fishing my neck of the woods. I live just inside Owl Creek cove. I almost find some kind of action on the point at Rock Creek. Good report and thanks.
  9. Come on. I recently moved here from Oologah. Love TRL.
  10. The wake up call scare gets a little easier each year. I was afraid to sneeze after mine 11 years ago. Still working on getting off the smokes but at least I quit for a few months each year. One of these days it'll take hold. Best of luck to you and great job on weight loss. Tully
  11. Title says it all. On TRL point 25 at 5:30 this morning to get some top water bites. 2nd fish of the day was about 1.5 pounds. As I removed the final hook of the Spook he flounced and stuck it right in my middle finger. Couldn't budge it either way so off I go to Cassville ER. This wasn't their first rodeo as they had a "Fish Hook Tray" set up. Shot to numb finger was worse part. It happens quick. Keep your guard up. Tully
  12. I know exactly where you're fishing. I just moved to Table Rock Lake from Oologah,OK. You fish the pond by Kohl's too?
  13. Yep, they are but they are good quality and just what I wanted for the wall of my new lake house. Now for finding a 36" x 36" frame...
  14. Hello all. Moving here from Tulsa. Previous to that I lived in Springfield, MO. Worked at a place that held customer tournaments out of Big Cedar and fished company tournaments on TRL. Aways enjoyed this lake. Built a lake house in the Eagle Rock - Big M area. Marker 25 is at entrance to the cove I'm in. Looking forward to learning from all of you and glad to be here. Fishing boat is a 24' pontoon with trolling motor on front and 60 hp 4 stroke on back. Tully
