we caught one limit sunday but when I finally figure out what they wanted I had to leave to go to a birthday party blue thunder with a chartrues tail was the ticket

Nope their still their just got lock jaw unless ur useing the right lure lol witch I know what it is.

I like to use low vis green unless im night fishing. I use excell on most everything Ive used those expensive floro and I really see no difference at all between them and mono I catch just as many fish as the pros do and I dont use the fancy line but I do believe in the expensive rods and good reels thats really all u need is good rods and reels

Well went today at flat creek two people in my friends boat limited out we ended up with one limit but when i finally figure them out today I had to leave for my little girls b day party but I now know where they are at again and a new trick thanks to my buddies who limited out

I have found useing this rig it helps to have just enough wind to ripple the water that way the jig bounces under the float. If there is no wind jut kinda shake the float a little then let it settle has the same effect.

some friends of mine and me fish from november till april for walleye I know they have been doing really good with two caught in the 15lb range and a 13lber myself this year catching them all on ghost x raps he is a pic of the 13lber i got not my biggest todate but a good one.

the cold front pushing in may have pushed them a little deeper or they could have been tight lipped. I am just wondering how all this cold ice and sleet melt is going to drop the water temp or if it does at all. Cause it will push them back a little deeper and may shut them down for a while,I might go this week end if it isn't too cold so I should have some sort of report to give weather its good or bad lol.

drp shot dandy sunday I dont think you could have thrown a wrong color I stuck with purple with blue fleck my buddy in the back of the boat was throwing smoke and purple my buddies in the other boat their was three of them one was useing a small slider in blue ice with chartrues tail the other was a black and chartrues grub and my other friend was throwing blue thunder we were all catching fish the same I think it is the heads we are useing I powder coat and paint eyes on my own heads you cant buy the color I make but it does make all the difference in the world we are useing pearl with green fleck heads with red eyes they just like it for some reason or another but location and presentation is the key I reel really slow with a few twitches is what does it for me try different retrieves to find out what they like and we use nothing but 1/8 heads not 1/16

The fishing was awesome all weekend friday had the lake to my self caught my limit in about an hour on purple with blue fleck. Saturday had it all to myself again same thing as friday caught the tar out of them on the same bait and sunday caught a limit but had to fight a hundred boats so it took me a little longer then normal but wasn't too bad of a day. But I feel the same way I post almost every time I go out and other people ain't saying nothing lol It isn't a secret to me unless im in a tournament but I no longer fish bass tournaments so I really dont care to share a bit of info

Try fishing the deep creeks with a single tail drub fished vertically I have a few friends doing pretty good on that right now. The wart bite is strong in some places right now also just depends on the area, All I can say is keep trying you get a good pattern.

Well it was a good day with too many people on the water we caught our limits with fighting with the boat lol. I had to get a little crappy with a couple ole boys that were idiots flying by me full speed with a 100 boats around needless to say he got followed and herd some few choice words about his actions and whats bad is I'm pretty easy going guy but he just struck a nerv he got smart with me and said something about kicken my but till I told him to get on the bank so I could beat the brakes off him then he was alot nicer lol. It all boils down to haveing respect for all the other boats and fisherman. I don't put up with idiots or their crap.

Tight line I learned alot from jimmie but most of the fishing techniques I have learned on my own. I am just as good a bass fisherman as I am a crappie fisherman. Bass fishing is my passion but I can give a piece of advice that helps me every year and that is to keep a fishing journal of everyday you go fishing put in it the date the type of day cold or warm water temp where you caught the fish what on and structure and depth they were caught in I keep a journal and I right in it every time i go fishing and then the next year when i get ready to go I can look up for feb or what ever month it was in my journal and see what and where i caught fish at the year before and it gives me a good starting place yeah the granted the fishing might not be the same but it has worked for me alot and has payed off for me when I have fished some tournaments and have won tournaments because of the little book I right in every time I go fishing.

I dont keep more then im suppose to in my freezer I had a fish fry for the family and I give some away to people who don't have fish and sometimes my buddies take them home with them. I know your only allowed 30 in your posession. If I had something to hide or was doing anything illeagle I wouldn't post it on here cause I also know that some members of this site are gamewardens so Its better to play by the rules then to get a ticket lol I know wardens use sites like this to bust people but im all leagal so I just post a pics and give a report so maybe other people can have a chance to get on the water and maybe use my info to catch them some crappie.

Just like I always do I found them right where I knew they would be 6 to 10ft of water same place on swimming minnows we caught 30 keepers win about an hour with a ton of short fish all together me and my buddy probly caught about 45 or 50 fish total and i even got a channel cat to hit my swimming minnow lol and we had several little bass with one good keeper but the bass go back cause i don't like to keep them good luck and stay safe guys.

I am just catching them on mud flats the mud warms up faster allowing the fish to hang their no cover that i have been fishing around I know that this also will work for black crappie around the long creek area cause ive caught them the same way down their. Most people didn't know I was catching fish this shollow for almost a month. For a month i was the only boat fishing where I was at except a couple friends.

that colors your useing are they smoke with purple flake and smoke with red flake
