  1. bridge port cape fair area around point 15 for crappie and whites
  2. The good color is a green color, And as far as the whites go if you want to find them their scattered all up the james side on the flats small rattle traps on olive back, blue and silver small shad color or a small shad rap when you find a school a white slider will catch these fish also when you throw just watch where you did and if you catch one throw back in the same spot cause their might be a school their.
  3. I'm heading out friday to see if i can get a limit of crappie early then run up the james and see if I can find some whites If not I can always catch a few bass on my way back down.
  4. Yeah he check us the other day as we were taking out too and that is very good advice for the people who want to have more then they are allowed or the ones who keep short fish,we have these rules to sustain our fish populations and make sure their is some for the next season. Better to be leagal then to have a hefty fine. Sounds like you guys done allright good fishing and stay safe.
  5. I was also on the water but i was in the flat creek arm me and a buddy ended up with 24 keepers a bunch of short I must say it was a tough day for me considering I get on the water at 7 in the morning and have been limiting out by 10 30 or 11 but it took us all day to catch what we did I just couldn't get on one school like I have been they were really scattered yesterday but they were in the same depth range they have been. good luck and hope you all stay safe on the water

  11. I didn't go today but my buddy did they caught their limits of crappie in an hour and a half 8 to 10 feet of water if your fishing deep your messing up the crappie are shallow I have been catching them in 8 to 10 ft of water since january and i haven't came home with out a limit but one or two times and i wasn't far from a limit either time
  12. Its just up the flatt creek arm on the left hand side just above point 15
  13. I just want to let everybody know if your going up the flatt creek arm follow the channel stay off the left side because I have seen three boats now hit this under water point that is 1 to 2 feet deep and they come to a dead stop. Word to people who dont know that area the lake is low if you dont know the area or the channel swing slow down and idol cause you might end up like the three boats that hit this point.
  14. I just dont believe in that that stuff i guess its a confedence thing every body has their go to baits but I will say one thing if you want a crappie to hold on to your bait put some mega strike on you jig or soft plastic when they hit it they will not let it go what so ever. I have use the nibbles but never had any better luck then what im useing now thats why i cant bring myself to use them or live bait its just a confedence thing for me i guess but if ya catch fish with it I say keep useing it I always say go with whats been working for ya. good luck to you all and good fishing

Well went today for a bit and it was very eventfull we had 30 keepers in the boat within 45 min lol and my uncle and his buddy had 30 in the boat in 45 min we were fishing right beside each others boats but im telling ya you couldn't beat the crappie of the end of your line today. I actually caught 17 in 17 thows its hard to beat it when its that good. But the bait fish were every where today and when we found a school of fish it was on every throw.
