  1. Count me in
  2. Nice job. It makes it more special when you can put your friend and quests on fish. I'm sure he enjoyed it.
  3. The biggest I know was a flat but I can't tell the difference in the other two. I like catfish houses but I guess I don't know how to clean them. Last one was horrible and have not brought one home since. For me anything but a walleye is a wasted crawler.
  4. Still catching them on crawler harness in 30 ft of water next to very deep water. I have been catching to many while walleye fishing. One was 8# by my scale.
  5. Little Island past RB east of the big one and point 5
  6. Thanks to all. Last report for short time. Knee surgery Monday. Then the lame duck will be at it again. Surgery is just to get out of honey do's.
  7. I also saw large fish in schools hitting the surface. Almost put down my bottom bouncing rods for casting. Some mighty big fish in Beaver. Very active today and I also saw striper boats. One moved in on me but I had my limit at that time. He probably thought I netted a stripes.
  8. I'm glad you caught him this morning before he ate my walleyes. Nice
  9. Good morning caught 7 walleyes with 4 keepers. A 21,19 1/2, 19 and 18 1/2 along with other fish. BB with gold spinners in 30 feet of water at .8 to 1 mph. Same as always. Man am I boring. But I was able to come home for lunch.
  10. This is where am at now Ron.
  11. Yes he was Ron. He gave it slack, it was only his second time fishing walleyes. He told me recently he still dreams about it.
  12. The first national walleye tournament was held in AR and since they have been in BS and Norfork. But no more to far to drive for those northerners.
  13. I used to fish them with my nephew. The year Teach and I were to team up they stopped. Like you Ron they were fun. And the guys were great.
  14. F&F my stick only goes to 23 so I just guessed 24
  15. The secret. All three on this spinner. To include last wks catch. The other secret they were caught on Beaver.
  16. I think my willingness to share comes from 15 years of fishing walleye tournaments up north because it sometimes got crowded in certain areas. Boats w/in 25 yards when you are trying to fish an area. It is still with me. I will not net a fish in front of another fishing boat unless I can sneak it in. Sorry that's me. I will give general info but that's it. On another site I gave out more info, but most fish the other 3 big lakes. Really there are only a few areas that produce this time of year consistently.
  17. My bluegills would/could only be used for bait. 1 1/2 to 4 inches. The worm out weighted them.
  18. Like I said selfish. It seems by my log we used to have a limit by noon every Tuesday and Thursday. At the time my buddy thought everyone should put the time in as we did. We had six good years of it.
  19. I'm somewhat secretive. When I first started fishing this lake I saw no one fishing walleye. Now I see many. Selfish. I never posted here because my partner said too many people read it so I honored his request. Now he's looking down on me frowning.
  20. Mistake to have boat in picture. One wk or two ago I put in right in front of you at PC. Merc yes and maybe two.
  21. Had fairly good day caught 6 walleyes but only 3 keepers. A 24",a 21 and a 19. 6 catfish still swimming and numorous bluegill.
  22. Maybe if I dressed like you I would not have visit Dr Hull as often. But I'm not very smart for being 66. Good report Doc.
  23. I always have two drift socks in the boat. Used to use them a lot on lake Oahe in SD as we sometimes drift the flats with jigs and spinners.
  24. no new partner put willing to share my boat anytime. It's a good lake just have to explore it. And be positive
  25. Fished for 5 hours 9 to 2 caught 4 walleyes 3 keepers and lost 2 at the net. I'll blaim the guy netting but it was me. One 22, one 20 and one 19. Long day but sill fun with the catfish, brim and bass eating my hundred dollar night crawlers. All walleyes on all gold rigs. Gold spinner, gold double taper float and beads. 30 ft at .8 to 1.3 mph. Water temp 82.5 and really no wind. And the best hardly any wake boats. Need to get out more than once a week.
