    TR, Long creek. The best fishing on the Bull seems to be in AR, upstream from the dam.

    Hopefully someone will tell you exactly, but I believe there's one in the Cape fair area on 76. It seems there is also one west on 86.

    My guess would be that its a commercial decision, sponsors probably want them to stay in strong market area.

    I have yet to figure out why they removed the trees. they took out one that was a popular shade spot on the bank. In lieu of a good reason, the idiot that ordered it should explain himself publicly.

    Don't overlook the X-Rap in Gold, while it doesn't exhibit a lot of gold it does show a lot perch. I like the Ghost also.

    I don't think its worth the trip when the water is high, and I only live 18 miles away. You might rethink the boat, Lilley's prices are very reasonable and you can boat a lot of fish in a half day rental.

    I don't doubt that there are people who need the cell phone for contact while they're fishing, fortunately there's a vibrating mode!

    Add me to that list, a radio is the second most irritating unnatural sound I hear on the river, a cell phone ringing is third, someone talking on one while taking up valuable river bottom space is first.

    If its really a necessity there are amplifiers that will not only amplify the signal, but allow the use of an antenna.

    We dropped Cingular for Alltel and we've never been sorry. My son still has them and has been known to borrow my phone, especially down Long Creek.

    Excellent It reminds me that in the early 80's we went without power for 5 days. We had 3 teens and a 8" B&W battery operated TV, it was amazing to watch them plan on how much they could watch it while not wasting the batteries, stay glued to it, and never complain over a TV they wouldn't have watched under any circumstances normally. You would have thought it was a 30" color when the batteries finally died and there were no replacements.

    They can't turn it on until everything downstream is solid. There may not be anything wrong with the feeder itself, but with what it feeds. There's also the possibility that something coming in from another direction has problems. Its always tough to have to wait, I know, but they have to stay safe in a very dangerous environment. They also have to worry about someone hooking up a generator wrong and sending voltage back through a transformer, turning it into 7200 volts for the linemen.

    My son says the power is off in Fair Grove and the ice is thick and breaking some pretty stout branches. Have there been any power outages in Taney County?

    The first time I tried one I kept the smoker at smoking temperature and it didn't do its thing. You need to do like polock and run the temp higher, IMO.

    Well if I ever hook another I won't get too close to the water. Thats scary!
