  1. I might add, keep as far away as practical,. These fish see a lot of flies, and fishermen.
  2. Just a thought, possibly instead of Bull Shoals, it could be the White river lakes. A southern Missouri stream reports section might be interesting.
  3. All stages of Midge fishing have been effective at times for me. They are something I turn too, from bottom to top, when my favorites go south.
  4. Brian, I can't say whether it works all over, but I've had some success on the Rock. Its pretty simple, weight on the bottom, hook above tied off of the main line, not on a dropper. The key is to use the Palomar knot to attach the hook, but be sure that when the line it taught, the hook bend is towards the surface. The sinkers that are specific too the method, those that wedge on, are worth the money because they will slide off when snagged. Drop or cast the rig, tighten the line and shake the tip, move and repeat.
