  1. Dano, gotcha. Terry, that sounds about right.
  2. Dano is Bodacious BBQ on 65? If so, before or after the turn?
  3. Amen, be strong my friend.
  4. I don't know the name and never been in it, but the one thats one block over from old 65 and main, north a half block is said to be good.
  5. Most of the ones I've seen on the river are 14' wide bottoms with 10-15 hp motors. The real expense comes in the 5500 watt generator to power the 3 Halogen lights on the front and the railing to hold them and you in the boat.
  6. Just what was not needed.

    BBQ

I suppose everyplace can have a bad one, I can't say I've been disappointed there. The Cafe across the street isn't too bad either. They've changed the inside since the 60's, but its been there forever, or close to it. Oscar's does have good carry out BBQ. You can also get it at Country Mart in Hollister. There's a pretty good Mexican place across the street from the mart.
  8. True, but it is in Branson. Ever eat at Danna's at the bottom of the hill, just past the church? It used to be a well kept secret, especially before the old one burned down. Been in and out of state, but its been a slow year. Like Yogi said, "The future ain't like it used to be" The Farm House downtown has a great Chicken Fry, but the it can be crowded too.
  9. Check the motels on the highway south of the dam, they're said to be reasonable.
  10. Its another of the traps, IMO you can find better ribs at a better price within blocks on the same road.
  11. Its not just livestock, it includes bad septic systems, runoff from food animal operations, wild animals, and humans interactions. Its only safe to assume that any untreated water isn't.
  12. We had our bi-annual family campout or I would have been there.
  13. There is a small area below Powersite that emerged last Fall as a line cutter. makes you wonder?
  14. I've been down in Arkansas, way down in Arkansas in El Dorado.
  15. Tim has all this rain had a significant affect on the spring output?
  16. Any Wipers being caught?
  17. Yes, you also have to be fast with Bufs. If they move the line, hit 'em. A 6 or 4 is about right.
  18. Thats about all you can do, the option is to see what some county judge thinks the law says, and hope the complainer isn't his golfing buddy. You might post the area however so that others won't stumble into the same fate.
  19. Did you wade up the road? There's always a good bunch of 'Bows in there after they run water over the top for a while. Glad to see someone take advantage of it.
  20. A lot of the accesses on the Niangua have a road that only goes 2 ways, for a ways without side roads. It would be easy for them to set up out of sight of Prosperine for instance, at 2 points, and have everyone in a net.
  21. This is a great area for solitude.
  22. They also need capital in order to take advantage of land sales. Stocking what? They can only put Trout in so many places.
  23. It could have been worse, they could have gone to the Dallas County side. CMAC its simply Friday night, and I'm glad they nailed a bunch of them, the word will spread fast and they'll rethink their options.
  24. It ain't the Coke. I rarely drink either, especially since there are fruit and tea drinks to go available now. When conditions permit I prefer barley pop from St Louis.
