  1. Well thats the difference between you and i. I have paid for the anual pass to launch my boat for years and this stupid goverment shutdown has nothing to do with a boat rampo that was built several years ago. Bought and paid for by us The Citizens/taxpaying Americans. I would drive around any i could to launch my boat. Screw em!
  2. Up in the White River i guess Pt 25...nice report.
  3. I buy warts they have the wiggle wart stamp under the lip. Have been known to pay up to $20 for the right colors. Post a pic of your colors that have the stamp.
  4. I say we all take turns tearing down anything blocking our ramps to our lakes. They wont sit there all night waiting and in time will get tired of trying to rebuild berracades and gates. They cant lock all of us up..thats all.
  5. Could someone who lives close to TR list some of the open ramps that are open and a person won't need a torch or bolt cutters to launch their boat? I hear H hwy ramp is open at Baxter, and i read that State park is open but anything aroung KC that a guy can launch? Ahoys? Mill cr?
  6. Nice report. Cool sonar pics as well.
  7. On bright sunny days i will take my Chrome/blue back/orange belly Rouge over any other period. Yes i like LC slender pointer and i love the 110's by Meggabass. It is all about conditions more than brand i believe. Thats why you need a box full of each brand and every color that you like. One thing i do KNOW is a minnow never changes color nor does the shad. yes they might very little from season to season but most of them are the same color, blue green backs and white bellies. LOL Twitch twitch pause then repeat or slow pull pause? I say it depends on lure.
  8. I have several of the old ones / pre Rapala warts i would sell for the right price. All have the wiggle wart stamp under the bill. I even have 13 or so un-opened red label warts that was made in Norman OK. where Storm started making them. Not cheap as $4.00 but hey they are vintage and no longer made. If anyone wants to see some or needs a certain stock color i may have it. I collect the old warts and have the ugly ones painted and BOY o BOY do they catch fish... I didn't believe it until i tried some of the old ones last fall-winter and they will catch more at a rate of 2:1 or better in same water and same color. No crap. NOW I'M a BELIEVER..
  9. 65lb thrust 12/24 v Minn kota trolling motor for sale. Replaced propshaft/armature and brushes with less than 10 hours on the motor since rebuilt. I will take the first $200 OBO that calls me at 417-827-6987. Works like new. Thanks,Scott BTW it is foot controlled
  10. I have some really clean old warts and then i have bought some recently online that have at least one coat of paint and maybe more on some. My question is how can i safely remove all the old custom paint without hurting my lures? I am wanting to have most of them custom painted by a professional such as Fall Creek or maybe one of the other guys,i looked at Oscars website and he has some great craw colors and patterns. Then there is David Ryan who does an awesome job. I would be proud to have anyone of these guys do my painting but i know they probably charge for cleaning off the old paint and if i was talking about one or two that would be no big deal but i am talking about a couple dozen or more. Anyone know what i should do?
  11. Used a Bic lighter and heated up the bill on one of my Redfins...now it is worthless. Has about as much action as a hickory stick. I don't recommend this at all.
  12. I say bounce a 1 oz. spoon off their hull and if that don't get their attention just do the same to them and pull 50 yds. or so in front of them and start fishing...... I know i hate it when people do that to me and i never fail to tell them about how many miles of shoreline the lake has and ask if i am fishing their water. Most of the time people won't even apologize or anything. But trolling between another boat and the bank? That is some BS.
