  1. Thanks Josh! Nice Report!
  2. Mike, Do you have an email where I can send you my address. I am new to this the online forum thing and do not want to post my address on forum?
  3. I currently own several Curados and Chronachs, and just recently bought two Lews Tournament Pros and absolutely love them. The Shimano's I have range from a couple years old to ten or so years old. These are built very well and have been great reels, but Shimano cheapen the Curados last year. They started using plastic parts instead of metal on the Curado G's. So I bought the Lews and Shimano has probably lost a long time customer for awhile. The Tournament Pro is probably one of the nicest and smoothest reels for the price point I have ever held in my hands. I have used them several times now, and they outcast any reel I have ever thrown to date. The BB-1 from my understanding is also a great reel but was intended for crankbait fishing, for the handle has play in it so feel the crankbait better. I know that is very specific for a reel, but also I know you can throw everything with a BB-1 and catch fish. I would suggest you buy a Tournament Pro for your all around fishing, and the BB-1 for cranking and possibly throwing a spinnerbait. Hope this helps!
  4. Mike K. My email is joeseidler@hotmail.com please send me an email on your products. Thanks
  5. Duskystripe Shiner, Thank you very much for supporting our veterans, for I come from a family that has served this great country. I also respect Bill's comments but I do not care about legs or reinventing the wheel. I love this great country and my great state of Missouri, and enjoy supporting local small businesses in the USA. I also tournament fish and sometimes it does take something a little different to make a huge difference in your catch. I would love to buy some of the Leggy Centipedes and support our Vets! Please let me know how or where I might be able to get them. Thanks to all that are serving or have served the best country in the world!
  6. It looks like the plastic baits that are in Dusky Stripe Shiners profile picture.
  7. Hi I was watching Pete Wenners video fishing report this last week and he showed a some of the soft plastics like a Zoom centipede, fish doctor and a new soft plastic bait that looked like a centipede with legs. He said that his friend has been pouring them up and that they will be available at tackle shops soon. Does anyone know what these baits are called or were I might be able to purchase them??
  8. Hi has anyone used a Razr rod? I purchased one about 4 months ago and really enjoy fishing it, but I thought it was a little heavy. I put a Lews Tournment Pro reel on it and it balances nicely. The gentleman that I spoke to was a very friendly guy and was very helpful. I was also told that these rods come with a no questions asked full lifetime warranty. Can anyone vouch for that? It was also nice to hear that these rods are local and I love supporting local small businesses. I also use Pigsticker jigs (local) with this rod and have been jawjacking them. Thanks
  9. Thanks I have seen the both the Buckeye and the LC crankbaits and they both look good will give them a try. Has anyone thrown the Bomber Long A 15A model?
  10. I am new to the wake bait game, it seems to be a very effective technique on Table Rock. I do have couple of Redfins and some DEPS buzz jets but have not thrown them a lot. Any suggestions on other brands that I should consider? Also any tips on the time of year when this technique is more effective. I have heard early in season, postspawn, and fall is this correct? Thanks for any help.
  11. I have fished both Table Rock and Lake of the Ozarks, and both are great lakes. I would stay away from Lake of the Ozarks during the summer season unless you are planning on night fishing. I believe at one time Lake of the Ozarks was ranked as the second deadliest body of water in the world. I agree with some of the posts above that LOZ has a little stain to it and the fish there tend to relate to shallower cover better, docks, brushpiles, rocks walls, etc. I have not fished LOZ in quite sometime, but fish Table Rock now several times a year when I can get back from New York. I love Table Rock Lake! Table Rock is a much clearer lake than LOZ which I believe makes the fish relate to deeper structure, and makes it harder to fish for the casual angler. I have figured fish out on Table Rock when the weather is bad or when the wind blows, but I still can be humbled on clear bluebird days there. I guess I should take Bill out for a day, so I can learn a few tricks. At the end of the day both lakes are ranked in the Top 50 lakes in the country and they are both in the great state of Missouri. That is pretty sweet!
