  1. White grubs...john deere grubs and green swimming minnow...agressor you asked if they were biting and i aswered...i post picks of the whites along with a pic of the 5lb walleye i caught!
  2. the whites just started picking up underneath Aldridge bridge
  3. I'm here at Aldridge now no whites to speak of so far a few crappie in one localize spot but very slow
  4. Unloaded around 10am and water was 38-39deg. Fished brush and trees in 30-20 fow and fish were everywhere but in the boat! Went up river to aldrich and found muddy water and 60deg. Water. Would like to say it was on but caught one crappie up against the bank and thats all. Water clarity at cedar was 4-5 ft and finally warmed to around 45-47 deg. Good luck and good fishing
  5. Going to cedar tomorrow for whites and crappie...will report my findings or lack of lol
  6. Im guessing you were on the bluff north of aldrich...i was there a few days ago and nothing but i was there too early...going to cedar tomorrow and making my way down towards aldrich
  7. J if im off work and fishing it you can fish in my boat
  8. Glad to hear the win...way to go guys!!! Nekia thats too bad but at least you saw her...ive had a few of those too. Sometimes God decides we need humbled instead of success...at least for me any way...great story either way!!
  9. Anyone found the whites on windy banks yet? Going wed. Next week to try and find them around cedar. Btw great job locals yesterday...bring in a limit today and it will be close!!!
  10. Hey guys i think this sounds great and i am in if i can get off work. Also im a local chef here in town and know people at victory mission's culinary school and the ACF chapter and if this works takes off i can get the word out and maybe a couple months this summer get the trade school and chefs out there and do food and stuff as well as maybe actually get some of the victory students out there to fish with some of us. Maybe do a team one where one of use and a victory trade student makes up a team?? Either way im in cause i have friends that the victory mission and culinary school there has changed their life and as a recovering alcoholic for going on four years i know first hand how much this kind of stuff can impact and make a big difference. Good luck and good fishing Kevin
  11. I would sugest stockton. they've been catching cats off the aldrich bridge on the south west side. use worms or shrimp or shiners.
  12. Well i agree with what they are saying but i also think an explanation of why would be useful. when holding a bass i like in the picture all the bass' weight is centered soley on it jaw wich is. extremely fragile. it doesn't take much at all to dislocate their jaw or worse tear it completely thus crippling it wich will likely be the cause of its demise. pro bass anglers are terribly bad about doing this and what's worse the bigger the fish the easier it happens. Doing this is equivalent to turning us sideways and holding us up by our arm over our head. our shoulder would for sure break. all fish can be liped but should be held verticaly and as shortly as possible. and the best way is to hold by wrapping your hand around the belly and holding under the fins.
  13. Like six said if there is anything that's contributing to this (i still think its intentional ) it would bee the trolling of a bama rig but highly unlikely imo.
  14. Unfortunately the pics speak for them selves. if it was a natural or predator or even accidental trotlinning incident there wouldn't be close to a 100+ known fish like this. especially because all of these theorys would have been producing fish like this all along. this imo is for sure intentionally done. the ones with the pic i suggest printing them off with a paragraph stating what dirt said in his first post and hanging them at all bait shops and ramps to let the people responsible know that this is NOT ok and we WILL NOT TOLERATE IT!!just a suggestion. Kevin
  15. Going to maze creek this afternoon with my grandpa and a buddy. going to throw out some noodle jugs and fish the flat and rocks for some cats. if that doesn't work we are going to go over near the channel and troll some flicker shads and see what happens. I will post our results
  16. Cool. how big were the cats? i haven't cat fished fellows in a long time. i didn't know it had flats. i thought just channels. we've been catching a bunch of cats at Stockton the last two weeks.
  17. Yes it was very fun. After we finally found the fish we had caught 2 and she said "oh my goodness this is so fun, its the best day of my life!" i love getting to take her. to me she is my daughter but she is my wife daughter with her ex husband and she lives with her dad and we only get her 3 weekends a month so i don't get to take her as much as i would like. Out of all the things i will pass on to my children the two things thats most important to me to teach them is love for the outdoors and to love God!
  18. Thanks! they are still going. mornings are best. they were hot at the maze creek bridge today on shrimp.
  19. Finally got into some this morning with my daughter. 5 cats an 1 drum. ruark and maze creek.
  20. Exactly what i think. i always go out and around when I'm in my boat. oh well. I'm just glad i didn't say anything cause i probably would have put myself right on the same level.
  21. I was sitting on the rocks around h bridge tonight with my daughter and a boat came up to fish it wich happens a lot and isn't no big deal. I'm all for sharing the water but next thing i know two spooks are landing about 45seconds apart 2ft infront of me. If that wasn't enough they did it again. needless to say it was a good thing my daughter was with me cause i wasn't very happy and might not have been so quiet. maybe I'm wrong but it seemed very disrespectful too me. oh well it takes all kinds i suppose. Kevin
  22. Went to h hwy bridge again and absolutely fed 2 doz worms to some dang perch. no cats at all. on a side not i was setting on the rocks fishing with my daughter and a boat comes up to bass fish the chunck rock wich isn't uncommon and plenty ok. Next thing i know a spook lands 2ft in front of me and literally splashes water up to where I'm setting and all be dang if the kid in the back didn't do the same. I'm all for sharing and all but dang he had the whole lake and i was just fishing in my little area. what's worse is they did it each again. Luckily my daughter was with me cause if not i might not have been so quiet. maybe I'm wrong but it was very disrespectful in my opinion. Good luck and good fishing. Kevin
  23. At stockton I've been fishing around the h hwy twin bridge and caught some cats last night. worms leeches shrimp or minnows.
