After 30years plus of fishing taneycomo I think this weekend was the prettiest I've ever seen the water. Goodness was the that beautiful or what? And the weather was amazing. All around wonderful weekend!

Just caught a beautiful 20 inch brown. Got it on video too. Fish are biting great today!

We are headed down in the morning. We are planning on targeting lower Taney for bass mainly but I about bet we end up running up to the cable once or twice this weekend if any of you all see a red tracker with the Ozark anglers emblem on the boat windshield and a sticker below that that says "Swift custom baits" be sure to give us a wave and howdy. Safe travels everyone!

Thanks Marty. My dad had cancer on his face last year and has only fished a couple times in the last 10 or so years so it was extra special to watch him catch those big fish today!

We rented a boat for the afternoon from Lilleys today and had a great day. Ended up with a 20.5 inch rainbow, a fat 19 inch brown and tons of fat bellied rainbows in the 14 to 16 inch range. Also had a couple nice smallies. White jigs in1/8th were all you needed. Tons of fish and they were slamming it!

Even with them down to 2 gates we still saw quite a few shad below fall creek this morning

Lake level going down again. Not sure how much or if they shut some gates down but it's slowing down a bit it appears

Saw you guys go by tonight. Figured you were going to do one cast. Wind was insane today. We actually left the dock we were fishing off of in fear of our safety at one point because we thought the tin was going to come off the roof.

Was at the landing shopping with the wife about an hour before dark tonight and the fish were midging up and down that entire stretch of the landing by the hundreds. That section of the lake has to be absolutely loaded with fish right now. -

We continue to catch a ton of rainbows on a dock and bank just below fall creek resort on the slow side. The size of fish is not good at all though. Some of the smallest fish I've ever caught here and not many nice ones mixed in.....yet. They will eat a white jig early in the morning but quit hitting it when it gets lighter out then it's sculpin Peach etc
