  1. What most people don't realize is that the reason the federal government has and is constantly acquiring more land is because those lands are used as collateral for the national debt. This was necessary when Nixon put the last nail in the coffin by completely un-backing the dollar after Johnson eliminated silver coins. All state owned lands are not collateral. Just like in any corporate bankruptcy or default, the creditors seize your land and assets. This is not the first rodeo for these bankers.
  2. I do not see getting the BB-1 with the Shimano style braking system IMO. The BB-1 is in my opinion simply not as good a design or build quality as the Shimano Chronarch etc IMO. They are good but more of a "me too" product than anything better. I see nothing defining in them. When you step over to the other Lew's braking system that is a different story. It is an excellent Korean design with very close tolerances. They are kind of half super-tuned with upgraded bearings and carbon drag washers over the competition. I think the Tournament series is the sweet spot in their lineup IMO. The Pro seems more for those looking to cut an ounce to balance their $200+ super light rod. You gain very little more with the Tournament Pro but a carbon fiber handle and 1 bearing making it 1.5oz lighter. I picked up a Tournament and Tournament Pro both new for about 35% off on the auction site. I saw no performance difference between the two. I am very impressed with them. It is psychologically challenging to buy an $80 baitcaster off the auction site and simply call it "done" after spending so much money for years with an endless stream of Shimano's and tuning upgrades. It does afford me a much better grade of rod.
