I saw people up past Orleans in bass boats last weekend. If you are headed up river past the old bridge pillars you have to stay left/center by the trees to the right is a big mudflat. I'm taking a canoe to the Aldrich area this weekend so I dont have to use the boat ramp. I bet it is very busy.

No whites seen at 215, Taylor, Orleans, or Aldrich. Saw one guy with a 4 lb walleye. Talked to someone at Taylor that caught a small walleye. That's all I heard of caught.

Taking my son to catch whites on Saturday, where is a good place to try? Highpoint or Aldrich?

I went to Orleans yesterday afternoon not much going on, only saw a couple whites caught.

Fished Orleans around lunch was pretty slow only caught a couple. Then went to Taylor water very low no action there. Going back with fly rod tomorrow is no storms and going to walk downstream at Taylor.

I fished 215 bridge by Morrisville for 1/2 hour this afternoon. Muddy water no bites. Did see an airboat go by like in a swamp, weird.

I'd think it will be fast and muddy up around Taylor tomorrow. I'm think of going Coffman or highpoint tomorrow afternoon. Thoughts?

I fished down across from Coffman today, nothing there but short largemouth. Hope you had luck at Taylor.

I fished yesterday from Taylor to the steel bridge below. Fishing was slow, most people had no fish or at most 2 or 3.

Agree, ramp is gone. Shore will be solid mud slicker than snot after the rain. I had trouble launching a canoe there a week or so ago. Had to slide it down the mud and then take it out on the gravel beach and drag it through the woods back to the parking lot.

Would be a fluke if it was from fellows. It would have had to of gone over 2 big dams and one small one. Strange deal.

Fished tonight downstream of Taylor from canoe , bite was hard to find. Only caught a couple whites, nobody was catching much of anything.

Fished from Aldridge to Taylor today. Fishing wasn't that great some male wb were caught. Saw more fisherman than fish. I bet the rain this week turns them on.

Put in at Aldrich his morning about 9, caught around 10 walleye, 10 crappie, 2 nice cats, and about 5 largemouth. Fished across from Coffman close to the bank. Unfortunately most were small but I manged enough for dinner. Very strange is that I didn't catch any white bass. Water was kinda murky, caught almost everything on a storm baby thunderstick in silver and blue. Tried other lures without much luck. Saw others with nice cats as well.

Glad you had a good trip. Sounds like I need to go upstream farther and buy some swimmin minnows.

I fished upstream and downstream of Taylor today from like 10am to 2pm and had terrible luck fishing. But it was still a good day on the river.

I was there yesterday, use chartreuse and fish the slack water out of the current.

Fished railroad bridge only one bite went to Taylor they are biting good right now.

Is it wadeable below Taylor ?

Darn knew I should have went. I'm going to take a day off if he caught them at Taylor.
