I hate to be the bearer of bad news man but the winter series champonship is this weekend...Saturday and Sunday. I don't know how many boats they will have. Maybe 40 or so..just a guess. I'll be out there trying to get keyed in on what the bass are doing. Good luck chasing the stripers!

Water temps were 46-48 from prairie to Hickory creek. It sucked for us..couldn't get the wart or jerkbait bite going. We had a few small keepers on the a-rig, threw them back in the lake and went home. A friend did finish 2nd with 18.86. Don't know what it took to win. And yes, that is a 5 fish limit!!!!

I tried to go out and catch those deep fish like you had been doing but all I did was hang up an a-rig and a spoon in a tree!!!

We will be there. Should be a good turn out with the mild weather. We got on a little deal a couple days ago that nobody would think to do..just hope it holds up. And looks like we will be weighing fish in the dark. Weigh-in starts at 4!!

I know your kidding! It was a pretty fun day!!! We had to hit several piles..have a couple keepers here and a couple keepers there. Then we hit 'the one'. It was loaded! Had several doubles on that pile!! Told Teddy I would love to have been able to put a camera down and see just how many were around it!

Jigs under a bobber..depth ranged from 3 to 8 feet under the bobber. They were aggressive too..they would dunk the bobber out of site!

We had a good mix of both white and black crappie. I like the blacks..they fight like crazy!

Coldest we saw was 42 in shallow water in the back of a creek. Upper 40's near the main lake.

Was on fire today! Fished from 10:30-1:30 and had 30 keepers and probably 40-50 little guys. Most came from the HSB area. Brush piles and lay downs were the key..color of jig didn't matter. Water temp in the mid 40's to 50. Get on the right pile and it was every cast!

I've got to get out and put some time on the water before the polar bear...but the extended forecast is rain/snow/rain/snow/rain/snow!!! Depressing!!!!!!
