  1. That's a shame man. But there will be plenty more days to come. Will be interesting to see what sort of pattern they'll be on once things settle a bit.
  2. Yeah that whole 40+ a week cuts into to much fishing time. I'm not happy about it lol
  3. I'd take those numbers any day man. Sounds like a blast!
  4. Way to go man! That's a great day of fishing. Is it just me or are all these fish looking real fat? They must be gorging with how fast water temps are going up.
  5. It's crazy how fast the fishing is turning on. Dude you're living the dream not only are you pulling in all kinds of great fish....just the opportunity to fish and be on the water as often as you can is amazing. You're blessed indeed man. Looking forward to meeting you.
  6. A pre Tom Brady one at that.....yeah that's right....a jab at the Pats while in a fishing forum.
  7. Dude that things a football!
  8. None taken man. I can't tell you the last time i've got to get out on the river like that. Especially in a sweet river pro. I'm usually wading huzzah, courtois, fork, etc. occasionally i get to do a float on the big. It'll be great to throw a line with you guys. I know i'll learn a great deal.
  9. Watch it now! one of those giggers will jump in here and tell you how cruel and unusual it is for you to catch and release lol if you didn't just start world war 3 then that might have!
  10. Hey any time you and smalliebigs feel like having the extra company just shout out to me man and ill do what i can to make the trip.
  11. Man i've been dying to get out there! Things seem to be moving pretty quick. Thanks for the reports guys! Love seeing you guys pull in some awesome smallies.
  12. This front is bringing in a good bit of warm rain. Should see the temps continue to climb because it doesn't look like air temps will be dropping much at all this week.
  13. Sounds like a good smallie! I've ran into locals like that on fork and the big several times. I can't wait until little man is big enough to go and toss a line!
  14. What a catch! You've taught him well! I can't wait until I can do this with my little man.
  15. Wow...I couldn't finish watching that. Gotta advertise for his guided river service that no one will buy (hopefully)
  16. Wow what a fish! I'm trying to imagine what it feels like to hold one that size lol my biggest to date was right at 18'. Very impressive! Thanks for the great report.
  17. how about a texas rigged 4-5' grub? They're easy to find and a lot of different companies make them. They catch all manner of fish but 4-5' is best for bass or larger game fish. You can even use the grub as a poor mans buzzbait by keep your rod tip and speeding your retrieve until the tail of the grub is flapping on the surface and this can be done even when texas rigged provided your weight used isn't heavy. A grub can be used to cover a lot of water much like a spinner bait can as well. If by chance you do get hung up and broke off you're usually loosing a little less money then you would with a spinner.
  18. Any variation of pumpkin or green pumpkin will give you results or any green/brown pattern for that matter. Don't get caught up to much in different color scheme's just stick to the basics. Not saying a bubble gum senko wont catch a bass but i am saying the ton of color variations are very good at catching fishermen if you catch my drift.
  19. Welcome to the forums and thanks for your service! Looking forward to hearing some reports from the gasconade and piney from you!
  20. I run into a lot of people who don't know what a spot is either...looks close enough to a largemouth so that's what they think it is I guess. I've never caught a mean mouth but have seen a few guys post pictures of them on here. I believe one of the best pictures of one I've seen on here was from a table rock lake report.
  21. Now that's a smallie! Great catch man! There's been some impressive smallies coming out of these reports lately it's got me feeling anxious lol thanks for the report and pictures man!
  22. A few years ago while on big river I came across an old water heater. I was fishing a 6inch shakey head worm on a spot remover jig and kept getting bites but could never land the fish. After about 5 or 6 times of doing this I took the worm off and trimmed it down to about 4 inches and threw it back out and in about 15 casts had pulled in a dozen goggle eye.
  23. I went ahead and shared rep Ross contact infor on my Facebook page and the details of bill so people would call him or email him and let him know what they thought so we will see if he catches any flak because of stuff like that
  24. From what I've gathered it's not just him but a very other influential voters within his district who I'm sure help fund his campaign.
  25. Awesome report guys and some great fish! Yesterday was the perfect day to be out on the water. I'm hoping to be out real soon! In the mean time keep feeding me reports!
