    Nice report, I was just curious if you put in under the bridge at Aldridge and went up river ? Or is there a better place to launch. I couldn't get through there last year, because of shallow water. I'll be up today in an old Ranger Aztec 1750, thanks for any launching advice.

    Nice job, is it possible to take a bass boat up the Sac from the Aldridge bridge?  Or is there a better place to  launch? Last year it was to shallow through there. Thanks I'll be up there in an old brown Ranger Aztec 1750.

      i believe it will be too shallow, seen a few people hit bottom in places with a jon boat. if there was a lot of rain up there though there are times you can run a bass boat up the river

    I'm interested but don't want to spend a lot on a bait caster, would like to have one for jigging and big plastic worms. Do you think that is the reel for that? Also looking for 7' MH rod
