OUTCOME Sucks = Death (Actively Dying (think drowning) over a day or so????... If you are lucky maybe several hrs???) Ask a Dr.. We're all going to get it so Be Smart....Wear a Mask...Social Distance...Buy Time Till a vaccine OR......if you have to get it.. Get it small!!!!!!! so your body can mount a defense!

Agreed. its tough to weed out the hype from fact. As this testing goes on we will know what does and does not work. I Will Suggest this... From everything I have seen and read you dont want this virus at all but it sounds like were all going to get it at some point. Wear a MASK if you have it!....make one if you dont (I provided a template in the thread) The key in my understanding is to get as small a viral load as possible so your body has time to mount a defense... The folks that are getting infected with a large viral dose (Not social distancing, walking though a cough/sneeze cloud, enclosed spaces with someone infected) are when the outcomes are not so good and can result in a rapid escalation and poor outcome. Its the cytokine storm - your body mounting an aggressive defense against the virus that causes inflammation in the lungs and results in death for a lot of those that require ventilators. The mask is your best option to limit the viral load - That and be smart. maintain social distance. April is going to be painful for lots of folks. Not here.....! Been getting lots done. Garden well under way, Tiller fired up, ground is drying out, seeds are germinating, been reading my Kent Rollins Cowboy cookbook and making plans to make every dish in it. Have the bread and pasta machines all ready to make stuff that we can enjoy and if things get real bad help out a neighbor or three. all set up to can this summers crop of three sisters... (providing Iowa weather dont chuck a bunch of hail at the wrong time). A great time to be alive! and Be Smart! Besides holes in the yard are frowned upon in by our HOA

I dont fully understand all of it either.. lots of those test are blood related tests and I'm sure it makes sense to those in the field. (I think white blood cell etc) I think the best thing for a lay person is the noted time frames and symptoms..... and dont mess around as things can go south pretty quick if you are in the 19-20% of those that need hospitalization
