I have never been coyote hunting. Have had near opportunities from my tree stand. Bow hunting. Just not close enough or saw them too late. Got a 6.8 all ready to play. Just have not had the toys to lure them in. When I eventually do I’ll probably just try a rabbit call.

Got a call today from the investigator. He asked me to send the video, which I did but they also said someone locally posted the video on Face Book/Social Media but he wasn't sure that was the same. I also had a friend stop by and check for the dog (wasn't there) but he did say they put a pile of dog food behind the shop which was all soaked and swollen from the rain. I also told the investigator that I spoke to the Humane Society and I had asked them if they had just homed a dog with the description I provided and they said no but they had someone scheduled 12 weeks out to bring one in that matched the description. I thought maybe they didn't want to wait that long and just dumped them at my place knowing its nearby the shelter. The investigator said yup that's a good possibility because the shelter now has cameras and it stopped people from dumping them there. He also said he would talk to the shelter and get the info of the people and check it out...He said if they have the matching truck in the video they are going to have some explaining to do.
