  1. If you see a fella out there in a camo drift boat with and orange kayak flag...please try not to run over him/me.
  2. Nice haul!
  3. Lol Nathan! He had been on a stringer for about a hour...so he was a bit dazed and confused. The wife an I only fished for an hour. Casting into the wind then getting hung up so many times didn't make for the best day of fishing for her. If we'd stuck with it, we'd probably pulled them in all day.
  4. ...caught with a white Keitech.
  5. Fished from the bank near the dam this morning and caught a 17" and this skinny 19"...
  6. That's great, Fins! Congrats to the wife! My wife is my fishing partner most of the time and loves it every bit as much as I do. Glad you had a great day!
  7. Great day! And it's on!
  8. Pig Souieeee! Nothing more exciting than catching a striper from a yak!
  9. Found some on my phone.
  10. I'll pull it out of the garage and post some photos tomorrow night or Wednesday a.m. when I'm off. I should've waited until Wed to post this and posted with photos.

  13. Yak, you are my hero. What you do out of a kayak is amazing. I'm totally focused on bow hunting right now and hope to have my two bucks soon then get back fishing.
  14. Looks like you had a great evening!
  15. Good times! Nothing like pulling in a big hybrid.
  16. Good day in the heat!
  17. Top Gun (rip) had one heck if a set up for keeping 100's of shad alive near ouchita. And that shad boat you are talking about was probably his or a copy. The shad I caught below Pensacola Dam at Grand were just stronger shad than what we have in Beaver. Maybe because they live in the current. I've had Grand shad live in my 200 gallon Zero Milk Tank for. 3 months during the winter. ROT is 1 shad per gallon. I usually kept 100 in there. Some of the shad were so strong, I could put them back in my blue water bait tank after trolling them for a couple hours. As long as there nose isn't red, they could care less if you stuck a hook through nostrils and drug them around the lake.

    Trout Trip

Good for you, Bill. Nothing like a day on the trout river...probably my favorite thing to do.
