My largest bass to date came from Perry County. 8 1/2 lbs. I've caught numerous bass in the 4 1/2 to 6 1/2 lb range there. It's a great jerkbait lake in the spring when that shad die off is happening. I haven't fished there in a few years but a popular summer pattern is watching the aeration boils and looking for the bass busting through the shad that congregate around them in the summer. I'd tie on a Rapala glass shad crankbait and pretty much just jump from aeration boil to boil and pick off a couple keepers on each.
That lake has a lot of good bass in it.
