  1. Yeah, you have to watch the photos carefully. When they have "doctored" troughs, they will cover the cut/break with their hand and wrist, unlike the photo above, where his fingers are splayed. I really like the inspection and tagging of the trough. That was a great idea and kudos to those who do that.
  2. Everything I have heard says the walleye prefer living way up in the James River arm, and that they stay far away from the lower end where I am.
  3. Is there an updated link? The current one does not appear t work anymore.
  4. Going to be down in a week visiting the parents and looking for any tips/advice on fishing the area between Indian Point and DD peninsula. Will have boat, but time constraints mean I won't be straying too far from that area (no more than a mile or two I'm guessing). Starting point is just south of the Show-Me baseball camp. I've got a couple structure areas marked via GPS to check out, but any other advice would be much appreciated.
  5. Absolutely loved Shore Acres. That's the resort we stayed at every trip down to Table Rock for many years.. Parent's got to know the folks who owned it way back then, and those folks ended up helping my parents get a cabin on the lake. Now the parents have a house on the lake and are enjoying their retirement.
  6. Media here in NE did not have any more on the story, other to say that she went missing from her partner with only 20 minutes of air left. Water visibility was said to be pretty low.
