I mean I can go from a 90 grain she'll all the way up to a 280 grain if I want. But want something we're when I shoot the deer I won't but a big hole in it and ruin a lot of meat from brusing. But agin I also want something that we're if I see that big buck across the field at 300 yards I want to be able to reach out and drop It

I now own a 7mm rem mag and I like it but I'm thinking about getting a 270 which one is better. I like my mag but thinkkng about the 270 because I can drop down from a 90 grain shell to a 280 grain. Does anyone have any advice on these

The guns I used as a kid was 30-30 marlin not much of a recoil and a 243 both good youth guns. I now shoot a 7mm rem mag. My mom shots a youth 30-30 it has a little smaller barrel than most 30-30 and is lighter and they also have youth shells hornedy makes them for youths less of a recoil.

Hey guys I lave my posted on here I'm a while I have been too busy worh hunting and work. But I got a quick question I am trying to stil up on some fishing lures for next year. Does anyone have any advice on any good smallmouth lures.

I have caught whit me bass and large and small mouth out of the James never any walleye I have herd of problem doing so.

Ok so I was at academy today had to pick up another rebel crawldad. I lost two already In a week sadly to day got hung in a tree kinda up high both times. Those lures are expensive I paid 5 bucks a piece for them. And well I picked up a Zaraspook and was wondering I it works really well in the James river? I have seen videos of people having luck with them. Do they work well this time of year at all?

I agree we do need rain bad I hate dragging the canoe or kayak it sucks. But hopefully we will get some rain soon.

I would have to agree I do like using ultralights for tight places and crappie fishing but I use a medium action for smallmouth and I love it.

Went down to Crighton today around 6pm and didn't catch anything but it was good to get out and away from work as I was walk to bank near the boat ramp I saw something in the water I stoped to look at it and realized it was a largemouth bass dead in the water idk how or why it died but it's a shame that it was dead and if a fisherman causes that then shame on them. It looked to be about 16in. I have never seen dead fish down there befor so this struck me as odd

That's why I go mofloatjunkie is because it's close to home and good fishing and yes camp headliner the old one was falling off so put that up because I hunt and fish a lot and matches my personality plus it's looks cool -

I use 8lb Tess and I sometimes use pumpkin seed like orange. It works well also. -
