  1. Thanks Champ. That is certainly encouraging, and reason to go forth and conquer as quickly as is feasible! Ben
  2. Got a unit reporting water temperatures from Pomme de Terre Lake this past weekend. The unit is at Nemo Landing Marina and is just like the others - reports water temperatures from 1' and 10' deep back to the website every 15 minutes. The unit is plotted on the Angler Spy Water Temp Map as usual. Again, I just know there is some crossover with Table Rock people who also fish Pomme, so thought I'd put this here. Thanks, and good luck this week. Ben
  3. Hi, I've got water temperatures from Nemo Landing Marina on Pomme de Terre lake reporting to the Angler Spy Map. Water temperatures are recorded from 1' and 10' deep and report live to the website every 15 minutes. Pomme de Terre water temps have been sitting around 67 degrees this morning. If you'd do me a favor, let your other Pomme de Terre friends know about this service as it would be helpful to me. Thanks and good luck on the water, Ben
  4. OK so I just bought the domain called "actuallysavetablerock.com" that I'll throw up some information on after some research. Tri Lakes Board needs to be called our for their deception - but I'll focus on giving people the real information even though what they have done makes my blood boil. I can do a form that sends to whomever. I can even just compile them and forward to proper representatives as they come in? Phil posted some good info...if anyone is doing some reading on this topic and comes across some good, reliable information, please leave a link to it here so I can begin to competently explain this situation. Let me know if anyone has any ideas. Ben
  5. I'm putting this on Angler Spy. The problem is Cole Currier with the tri lakes board of realtors. He created a website called 'savetablerock.com' and people signed up and sent letter unknowingly. Kind of bull%*#+ is you ask me, pardon my French. I'll start a new one ASAP so more people can easily send letters! He had $ to spend of Facebook ads, so everyone keep in mine a way we could pool some money to circulate this if this OAF effort needs help. I am thrilled Phil is on this, and Gary as well. To both of them, I'll be doing all I can. I am passionate about few things besides Table Rock Lake...another would be deception used by Cole Currier and the Tri Lakes Board of Realtors.
  6. Seems like this is the busier forum, so just thought I'd let any of you Bull Shoals people know that I have water temperatures reporting from Bull Shoals at Sugar Loaf Harbor Marina. I put these on the map. Have a good Sunday and good luck. Ben
  7. Just letting any of your Bull Shoals folks that I have a unit reporting water temperatures from Sugar Loaf Harbor Marina on Bull Shoals. It reports water temps to my Angler Spy Map every 15 minutes from 1' and 10' deep. Good luck, Ben
  8. So neat. That seems like an odd image they chose to represent Bull Shoals...
  9. Say Mitch, where is your go to for ecommerce? Tackle warehouse?
  10. Sure. It is a big lake - I'll get one there some day. Pitch in for one and I can get it deployed quickly: https://www.facebook.com/commerce/products/998920926885574/ http://getanglerspy.com/temp-unit.html Free isn't free Ben
  11. Good to hear. LOZ was beyond a zoo today - for a TRL guy, it looked like my worst nightmare...
  12. Water temperature at Alhonna Resort & Marina is 76.5 as of this post - about the same at 10' as well. My monitor there reports every 15 minutes. I've made my map-style website the only interface you have to use - no sign up or registration - just go to http://anglerspy.com and see the map - easy peasy. Scroll / pan up to LOZ. I've got go ahead at Truman State Park, I'll get that up and running soon. Ben
  13. 76.5 - just got a temperature unit reporting today for LOZ at Alhonna Resort & Marina - it is now on my map - my website is entirely open, free, and no longer even require registration. Help a brother out and tell you're friends! Ha. You can see the map here, just scroll up to LOZ as the map will still center on TRL for now. I've got a few more in the works up there and one for Truman State Park when I am able to get back over that way. Ben
  14. Hi guys and gals, For any of you who are concerned with current lake of the Ozarks water temperature - I've got a temp unit reporting 10' deep and 1' deep at Alhonna Resort & Marina. Just since I have you here, a few notes: Angler Spy no longer requires registration - it is a map only - and is open to anyone. Truman State Park is next on the list for temperatures only, should be able to knock it out next weekend. As for fishing - I've caught fish shallow around the Indian Point area the last week on a PB & J jig and a PB&J ned - mostly smallmouth in the evenings when I have time. Have a good week coming up, Ben
  15. Daryk, thanks for the feedback. Where are you located? I'd like to try and get you a temperature sensor or two at a lake you fish more frequently. Let me know if there is a lake you fish frequently and I'll start some research. Ben
  16. Hi guys and gals, First off, I just want to thank you for all of the unbelievable feedback you've given me as I've worked on Angler Spy...something that I hope will always have a stamp of authentic, Ozarks - White River innovation. I've been weighing a lot of options lately. I am going to pursue focusing solely on temperatures as I expand. They are affordable for me to accomplish without outside investment, and they are quantifiable - meaning they are numbers that can be graphed and displayed cheaply and easily. I will add clarity cams in areas where I am able to get sponsorship. The camera aspect is so much more involved and requires a dependable partner, especially in areas where I don't live (i.e. everywhere except Table Rock) In fact, I'm heading to LOZ tomorrow to install temps-only units. My big questions is: would you be interested in getting daily/weekly texts that informed you of water temperatures? This would mean you wouldn't have to login, download any app, or really do anything at all...simply open a text message in the morning and see water temps for all reporting units? Over time, we'd allow for subscribing to certain lakes, certain units, etc., but initially we'd just text you something like: Indian Point Marina: 78 degrees @ 1' , 76 degrees @ 10' etc etc etc PLEASE let me know if you would subscribe to something like this. Of course, you'd be able to opt out at any time if you wished to no longer receive these updates. Ben
  17. Some recent info on Oklahoma disposal wells.... http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSL1N1BI1VD
  18. Thanks for this. We had suspected this was the case! Neat to put it all together.
  19. A buddy and myself went out early early Saturday morning, hoping to beat the crazies. We did for a while, but we're tucked back in a cove until about 11 am when the sun broke through, so we headed for the grill. We watched football, then went back out about 6:30 and sought cover in a similar cove. We had a great time. Didn't catch 500 fish like you drop shot guys...that just isn't our style. Buddy caught a right at 5# largemouth in the picture, lots of good smallies, and I caught a 3.5# and another that we didn't weigh but looked like my first fishes twin. We are not experts, but the only thing we noticed (naturally!) was that the water temp was in a cooling trend, pretty sharp compared to the last few weeks. I was hoping that some of your guys may have a comment. I've attached a graph of the last 30 days of temps at Indian Point, very near where we fished. We fished day and night of Sept 3rd (over holiday weekend), which is markedly the coolest water temp in the last month. The fish seemed to be hammering our lures and were not shy. Any thoughts?
  20. I got 4 different answers from 3 different officials from ACE about any regulations regarding my monitoring equipment that provides data for AnglerSpy.com The gentlemen I spoke with we're very friendly though... And I get it. They are not going to risk their jobs by giving out OK's that could land them in hot water. I think they do a fairly good job, given the red tape they're faced with... Would you risk a pension 3 times the size of a teachers???
  21. So long as the attachment uploaded properly, here is a time lapse of visibility images from Indian Point. From mid May to mid July - remember the brown tea colored water? Kind of neat to see it give way to the cleaner & greener water of early summer, then to mid July. Sorry I don't have more recent images included. Soon enough these will be standard within the application. Edited: you'll have to view the video elsewhere as I don't have it on Youtube at moment. Try this: https://www.facebook.com/anglerspy/videos
  22. Sorry guys.....the graph has temperatures titled as 'surface temperatures' on the left hand axis, which is not labeled correctly. The title is correct. These are from the thermometer at 10' beneath one of the larger docks at Indian Point.
  23. Some updates on AnglerSpy.com and a temperature graph for a 3 month range...just because... While we are still working on a new interface that will allow for historical viewing of all the data we've gathered since May, for now, I can manually play with all the data. Just thought some of you may think it is neat. I know I do. I'm not exactly sure what value this data has, but I've got loads of it, so we're spending a lot of time developing new ways for anyone who uses Angler Spy to query any date range for any monitoring site to your heart's content. Sorry, this is just an image, so it is not interactive. That will change eventually. Some interesting things that it does show are how much the temperature of the water at the unit at Indian Point fluctuates during the Spring and Early Summer. On June 13th, we must have had some cool nights/rains, because the temperature raised about 13 degrees over the course of a day, only to fall back down until morning. Some other news for any of you guys that use or have used the service: Android & iOS phone apps are under construction Lake of the Ozarks is imminent. We're working on acquiring all the equipment we need. Look for a new & improved interface this Fall - the map will live on, but the application will be more rich, with the ability to query various date ranges and see temps, lake level, etc as graphs, see time lapse videos of visibility images, display weather data associated with those dates, and more. You will likely be exposed to some well thought out advertisements this fall, to keep us moving. Table Rock is one of 100 of the Bassmaster Top 100 that we've lined out as our goal. Anyways, just keeping you all in the loop. Phil's forum here, which means all of you, have been unbelievably supportive and the feedback I've received here is priceless! I truly thank you all. Ben
  24. Mosmallies, you're the second person to say something similar to this...I'll look into it, for sure. And Tan-Tar-a is a definite location. I've had that recommendation from several people now, it is for sure on the list. Thanks for the input. Ben
