what with the high water and fast boat traffic in front of the marina at bass pro, I got seasick yesterday.I have been working the marina on wednesdays for a bit and early in morning I thoguht I was getting dizzy and falling down because of low blood sugar but I was relieved to see the minnow buckets and lights swinging above my head........................chuckle, chuckle

taxi, I think the fish hold to say large clean limbs then anything.I catch more fish off of tree and rootballs floated in then any cedar piles.Have you noticed the large trees the conservation dept dropped into bs?They just cut sycamores and let them drop from bank to lake.

I have many storiesbut the one thats makes me proudest happened last summer on bull shoals, I took my kids and wife crappie fishing.My 11 year old girl was using a bobber and minnows.She hadnt had it in the water 2 minutes and i actually heard the bobber go under.kersplash.........she fought it to the boat and I figured a nice sized crappie , but to my suprise as I pulled it up from under the boat for her it was a four pound bass.Well to make a long story short , the fishing slowed conciderably and we had to leavewith only a few crappie and the bass.I asked her if we could put her fish back and she agreed.............I was proud of her .
