the downstream bohigan access and the mill creek recreation area picnic area place. I was fishing faster water in riffles and where the riffles came into a pool. I fished downstream at both places.

Thanks!!! Yeah Fiberglass. i built it using the tip and midsection of a 3 pc 7'6" blank. I'm kinda on a soft hackle kick lately....

Thanks!!! i did hear they did some stocking lately. It was my first time at baptist but the level seemed a little down and was very clear. Now with the rain we are getting now im sure that will change some. i did see a good number of fish. i cant say for certain on many browns but i did see a lot of bows from the fish i could see in pools etc.

Nice. I was using nothing but soft hackles there and a few other streams I went to this week. Peacock, partridge n olive, and hares ear.

I ended my 3 days of fishing in the Ozarks by meeting my Dad at Bennett. Was one of the best days I've had at the trout parks. I brought 26 to hand all on soft hackles. I even got my dad catching a few on the fly rod. It was a great 3 days of fishing. Took off a few days for my birthday today. Got home, got cleaned up, then was off to the Bluegrass Ball in STL.

I started out my 3 days of fishing in the Ozarks at Baptist Camp. This was my first time there and fished a few hours before moving on to Spring Creek. I caught my first Brown ever.

I returned from my adventures in the Ozarks last night. Excellent time with great scenery and fishing!!! Consentrated on fishing soft hackles/wet fly fishing all week. Worked well. My goal is to hit up all wild trout streams in Missouri by the end of next year. Had success at Mill Creek and Little Piney but skunked at Spring Creek. Mill Creek:

hey there are you referring to the low water bridge upstream from bohigian? i was at feathercraft on saturday and they said to try down by the mill creek rec area. i think thats downstream of bohigian... Also did you happen to pull any fish outta spring creek? you said some good water near the J bridge? still trying to find where i can park and whats considered "public" etc... thanks again.

will do. Gonna shoot for thursday and since gonna rain wednesday hopefully it will add a little flow and at the very least some color but being my first time giving mill a try i dont have much expectations either way just excited to give it a try. thanks man!!!

Hey there. I'm planning on hitting up the blue ribbon trout areas near Rolla next week and was wondering where the public access on the spring creek is? From looking at google maps it shows the road hug the stream for a good while. Is parking there ok? i do see a turnoff onto a forest service road that leads to what looks like a river ford. Is that kosher? LOL. Thanks guys.

I've only fished it 2 times and that was within the last month. It looked low to me in comparison to other photos I've seen.

Hey everyone the misses and I are going to camping at Huzzah Valley this weekend and I'm wondering hows the bite lately? We will be fly and spin fishing. We probably will just be hanging around the campground so was also wondering if anyone knows of any good holes around there... thanks!!!
