Fishing TR this weekend out of Lazy Lee's in Kimbling City. Have you seen much of a change from last weekend? How is the slime in the Kimbling City area? If it is bad, I was thinking about going old school and swimming a grub on a darter head. I appreciate any info.
thanks,
Frank

I think you should be able to find plenty of good banks without the slime issue. I do not spend much time up shallow, but I think the shallow bite is pretty good. The WT has remained the same for the past week (60 to 62) and I see guys routinely catching shallow fish. Swimming a grub should be effective. The shallow and deep bites are working.
Good Luck!

Thanks for your reply. I had internet issues at the lake and did not get to read your response. We did well using a split shot rig and light Carolina rig throwing up to the bank and getting bit off the 1st shelf. Nothing over 3 lbs though. Others in our group did great throwing a fluke up to the bank and around boat docks. A 5.65 lb largemouth came off a fluke by a laydown. A dropshot worked well also.
Thanks again for your advise.
