This coming weekend im predicting female crappie should move up. With warm temps this week. Ok fellas lets be respectful of each other on the water. Some guys fishing on the bank yesterday evening decided to cast in front of my trolling motor I was a good 60 feet in front of them, I had politely put my rod down when I trolled past them to get to the back of a cove, thankfully my wife was in the boat. Anyway ill be going at night bigger crappie. Have a good work week guys, only 5 days till they are in full swing.

One way to solve that go right before dark, best time to catch crappie anyway.

Well iwish my grandpa was still around, family means alot to me. Well fellas crappie at highpoint caught a few females tonight eggs still not ready id say they will move up around the full moon, be safe out there and good luck. As for me ill be back at dons bait camping at highpoint this coming weekend. Ill be in a red metallic aggressor bass boat on highpoint if you see me say hello

Good on shiners hit and miss due to wind and front moving through give it a couple of days to clear. Females still not ready to spawn id say full moon. Still not bloody, they should be up in a week if we get warm temps crappie spawn will run at least to 2nd week of may this year.

an hour before dark, thats what i did and had 15 in 30minutes

all fish I have caught the eggs are not bloody yet females will not move all the way up till the full moon. Those cold snaps with wind will shut them down for a few days then they will start up again. Last year was warmer we are running about 2 weeks behind this year water temp was 64.1 yesterday in the river arm around highpoint.

Was fishing my spot started talking to a guy who was probably gonna be last trip with his grandpa, said all they caught were shorts, so to make it a memorable trip I let him fish my spot, met up with him at the boat launch and they finally got a limit, and his grandpa got a 14 inch crappie. Was a good feeling to put them on the fish. They are from thayer mo.

Another thing dont you think conservation are on this site? In a nice way, id keep a tight lip. I eat my fish there to good to hold on to. Plus I give friend and family fish.

I use my mind lol I keep a mental note. And yes they can so if you can afford 75.00 a fish cause thats what it will be.

I was there yesterday my aggressor bass boat handles it but crappie turned off so alot of us guys were putting the boats on our trailer by 9:30 am. I wasted a vacation day.

Crappie usually turn off in cold fronts and wind.

I cant afford it 75.00 a fish. Thought maybe you didnt know but I read it wrong. Wish I could go twice a day but my gmc loves the gas.and so does my boat, tomorrow is my last vacation day so hopefully if I get there about 4:00am ill get a limit of crappie.

Been to busy fishing to post. Crappie are good early and late. Jigs are hot right now, white, or chartreuse. Good luck out there be safe and respectful of each other on the water.

Upper lake is colder hit 62degrees around Aldrich. I believe the bigger fish are hanging around timber about 15 feet and feeding after dark.

I was there today water temp was 60.1 and fish are staging. Tough bite due to 20mph wind today. -

This is solo or teams. 7:30 start 3:30 finish. The 11th. Smbasser gave me an idea awhile back that is why i decided to make this a trial tournament cause if its handled right it will continue. Another thing if you fish it please be respectful of the marina and the no wake zone, or this will definitely end it
