New member that has been reading past posts, so thought i'd ask my question. I run a 1998 G3 with a 1998 F50 Yamaha four stroke. Motor pushes the boat decent. Ive read in the EFI motors you can remove the restrictor plate and gain an additional 10 HP " thats what they say" and am wondering since i have the carb. model, if there are options other than changing prop, that i can do, like change carb needles, etc. to gain more HP? Thanks and great info on this site. Im in the Springfield Mo. area.
