from Springfield, mo and wondering where to fish for crappie?

Brother and i put boat in Saturday afternoon bout 2 pm and by 6 we both had our limit of nice 1.5 lb crappie. fished trees bout 6 to 10 ft with Bobby Garland itty bitty swim'r. water temp was 52.

any crappie news yet? have cabin at lake across bolivar landing and trying to catch start of crappie spawn. Or anyone know water temps round landing? Been going stockton under aldrich bridge and catching few nice crappie and lots of whites every other day but no spawning sign from crappie there.

white bass or crappie? crappie i been catching on silver sparkle tube jig and whites on white/chartreuse swimming minnow. only caught 3 keeper crappie yesterday though. think rain and muddy water pushed them down a lilttle

yeah crappie not near ready yet with their eggs but white bass are about to bust. been catching them at aldrich very shallow next to bank

went back to spot under aldrich bride this morning and brought some family, didnt do to bad. left with 9 nice crappie with one reaching 14 inches and 12 white bass. slowed down bit since Wednesday.

yeah water level very low and dirty. i would fish banks with sun/breeze all day and personally like chunky rock areas. Using white/chartreuse grub and milky salt & pepper grub

Went to my spot by aldrich round 2 and first cast had small white so i figure i try lil deeper and started getting into some hogs round 8ft. then bout 5 o'clock had limit of whites so tried for crappie and caught few nice crappie on bottom bout 10-15 ft. Going to give it another week or two for them crappie at pomme de but wont be long now.
