  1. Chanp, you are correct! I think we found one with a slip, The village on Indian Point. I will know for sure in the next couple of days. We also found one a member of this sight has Also on indann point. He was kind enough to let us stay for a few days. The village has the slip and water view...I'll let ya know. Thanks again for your advice and post's. All the best info here and can't wait to get down again soon! Got home yesterday afternoon...pager went off last night for a stand off, (gave up before we got there) and a shooting after a rap concert big crowd. I miss the lake already!!!!!! Take care
  2. I'll let him know, thanks Quillback. Hopefully today he doesn't yell "get the net Ralph" to me all day. We laughed all afternoon yesterday about it though. I love how this place humbles a guy! Take care-Chris.
  3. Stopped in today, very nice fellow. He is waiting a shipment but i will give him some busniess. Thanks for the info.
  4. Only got out for three hours this afternoon. I got a royal but whipping by little c. My son caught ten. Keeper large, three keeper spots, one keeper smallie (beautiful color), not that they all arent. I caught one spot, one smallie (about six inches) and one smallie just short. He changed up the ned with a presentation that was similar to a shakey head retrieve. We fished the area around rock lane marina. Didn't burn a gallon of gas. Just put the trolling motor down and fished. He tried his best to attach some pictures to this but we couldn't, sorry. Thanks to all and go8d fishin!!
  5. 4-23.....we got out around 1100 hrs. Fished secondary points in Indian. Caught 3 Kentucky keepers 9 smallmouth. Only had four keepers total. Off the lake at 5. We found a point across the lake (west) of the big marina just north of the indian point marina. The point was loaded with Kentuckys, spent a lot of time on it. We caught numerous short Kentucky. Most all on the Ned and best when the wind layed down some.
  6. Champ, you know what you're doing if too Hawkeyes can follow and be successful.
  7. Thanks trophyfisher, i think we will try the tackle shop in kimberling city for them.
  8. Thanks for the report. The Ned Heads you sent us are the deal. Thanks!
  9. Following all the good advice on this forum my son and i fished in the indian creek area. We cought eight keepers (small mouth and spots) before the rain. After the rain we fished from 1-5p at point 1. We fished on the west side of the point from basically the banks/standing timber to the shollow water bouy. Cought another five keeper spots, three keeper small mouths, and five shorts. From there we hit points back to the tree house condo area. No more keepers but another four short smallies, one spot. First thing this morning my son caught them on a spinner bait. i caught some on the ned. The ned was fished slow using a watermelon/red flake half a Yamamoto senko. We used the ned heads Dave sent us. We REALLY appricate all the info you guys/gals share!! We will be here untill Sunday and i will post pics if it helps. We are in a red skeeter zx200. Champ/Donna......you guys rock!! Thanks again.
  10. Good luck.
  11. Thanks for the report.
  12. appreciate the report and thanks for the rod/line info!!
  13. I have stayed there numerous times over the last few years. I had my boat in a slip however the marina manager is very helpful. I think there is a lot just west of the office/check in place that has some electricity to it. I would suggest you call the marina magr (sorry i can't remember his name) and ask about it. I did keep my trailer in the lot you mentioned and there was no electricity there last fall.
