I use to fish with zebco 808's and 404's and used some silstars years ago...now im just getting back into freshwater fishing and have 2 - 7 foot medium ugly sticks 1 has an old quantum snap fire reel and the other has a new shimano sedona 2500 on it both spincast...have a couple off the wall rods reels also...it's tough when you on a fixed income.

I been looking at the snoopy rods and reels myself, i think they on sale at Walmart....lol -
Im thinking 60 degrees before i even hook my boat up to my truck.........and im older than 60....so as you get older the cold bothers you more i have found out.

30!!!??? rods and reels...i feel in adequate then, i shouldnt even be on the water...think i'll sale my boat....lmao...i have 4 rigs total....hehe..

Looking at the monthly weather forecast, it showed the 29th as being 58 degrees which is next Sunday, but you know how them weather people lie. -
Thanks Guy's....lot of info here... I using spinning reels at the moment on medium 7 foot ugly sticks but sounds like i need to break out my deep sea equipment to use the A-rig....lol (being sarcastic)

Took a little ride today to shell knob and Campbell point, cant even see where the boat ramp is at Shell Knob..... here's a couple of pictures These ^^^ are of shell Knob Campbell Point boat ramp and picnic area......the marina in Campbell point is not accessable you would have to wade out to get to cat walk....

Thanks CJ...for report.. I have seen stuff floating up the flat creek way all the time..last time up that way there as an 8 foot long log floating in that water just before the left turn before the bridge.. If im by myself even in summer i usually have my life jacket on when big motor running.
