  1. this one it's easy, but you bet I am trying the one above. Fish tacos are awesome !!
  2. Thanks, to bad I fowl hooked a couple of them. It was weird, I swear they bumped the spoon, I felt like I missed the hook set, then fish on only in the tail. I think both were hooked on the same side of the tail and in the same place. A couple cats ate the whole thing. All the cats are still in the lake waiting for you.
  3. That is great ! Some real fatties !
  4. Thanks John, it would have been good to get a walleye, or a wiper but we still had fun, and ate good too !
  5. Casting and jigging a flat, in 20 feet of water. 1/4 oz glow with red head.
  6. They were running maneuvers over the water, they got very close to us.
  7. My wife and I made the 2 hour drive to have a "New Lake" adventure, here are some pictures of our day and dinner. Crappie tacos are good ! I did not find any walleye but I have some ideas for the next trip. At least we didn't get skunked.
  8. That is what we call "fixated", and it paid off. Good job !

  10. Sorry, got it I'm still in.
  11. Just to be clear, what do you get for $300.? It looks like you save $50 by bringing your own boat and gear?? I have reread my post, I didn't mean for it to sound rude, I have never used a guide service before, I am not sure how it goes.
  12. Binks is a great company with above par customer service. It is great to deal with them, anyone who will give them a try will say the same thing. Very pleasant experience.
  13. Thank you for the encouragement, I hope my "hick speak" wasn't to difficult to understand. I will try to do one on bottom bouncing next time.
  14. Thanks, that spot stays that way when the wind is from the south. (hint)
  15. The last walleye came on a bottom bouncer, as I was trolling with the Happy troller flap on the outboard. I had stopped the boat and was giving up...the fish hit it on the retrieve, I was reeling fairly fast , then bang. Happy Happy !
  16. All fish can on a Binks Spoon, with the exception of the last walleye. Contents of my live well 2 crappie, 8 whitebass, and 2 walleye 17 1/2", and 20".
  17. There used to be a spring feed trout farm on Old Ritchy rd north of Granby. It was/is in the river bottom. Who know how many times it has flooded. I took my kids there when they were little, getting close to 20 years ago now.
  18. Give me two weeks notice, I will be there, baring a catastrophic event. Can I make a video or does that cost money?
  19. Can't wait to get a couple days off!
  20. I am in, I just need plenty of forewarning for work and wife.
  21. That is a beautiful smallmouth ! The water looks good too. Great read too.
  22. Sweet, thanks for sharing. It sounds like the walleye are turned on. I guess the rain didn't hinder you? I thought about heading down Saturday but I figured it would be raining.
  23. It makes me wonder if people are taking short fish home. I have only been checked once on memorial day. 8/6/16 fishing was slow and the lake has been pulled down a lot ! I would guess 8 to 10 of bare bank showing. Thermocline looked like it was about 22 feet.
  24. Good friends, great catch ! That is a day that is hard to beat. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. If you would like you can pretend to be a walleye guide for me any day, I will buy the worms and gas
