Orvis sells a furled leader but the one that Feather-Craft (St. Louis, Mo.) sells is the better of the two. It's a personal choice but I really like them.

Could you give me a little better description of the fly? Did it have a pearl bead head and a primrose body? Was the body wire wrapped? And, by the way, what color is "primrose". Thanks

The recipe I have calls for a glazed doughnut. Also recommends rubber banding a square of panty hose on the end of the straw.
