  1. Makes perfect sense. Thank you
  2. If you pole mount your livescope transducer, do you "see" the trolling motor and shaft when you pan about? If so, is it an issue?
  3. Improve the odds that you will find a buyer. Post a price.
  4. I think I have it fixed. I sprayed some teflon based dry lube into a cup and applied it to the edges of the switch with a small brush. I've probably punched the switch a couple hundred times now and it hasn't stuck once. So far, so good. Thanks again.
  5. Thanks all. I'll check with both of them this morning.
  6. I googled Clear Cast but only came up with an epoxy resin. Any more info? Thanks
  7. I have a 1199 with a sticky "Exit" switch. Humminbird has no interest in servicing the unit. I think that it's just a matter of cleaning (and maybe lubing) the switch but I can find no information on the "negatives" of opening up the case. Experience anyone? Final thought. Anyone have any experience with any organization that does out of warranty repair work on Humminbird gear? Thanks, help would be appreciated. Hate to toss out a perfectly good piece of equipment over a fifty cent switch.
  8. Sold. Thanks for looking.

  17. Thanks for the report, but for a nimrod like me, the "big end" means nothing.

  19. My son was thinking about selling his. I can't offer any details but he is in the Kansas City area. I can hook you up if I had some contact info.
  20. Thanks for the info. I'll do some research. You should retire as soon as possible. Work hard, save your money, and get out while you can still do what you love to do. Second option is to get the wife a second job which could allow an even earlier retirement.
  21. Where did you fish in NY? We are going to be up there in 2 weeks and I always carry my fishing gear.
