Ask Slab slinger he knows what's going on with the whites. And the crappie have been turning on around midnight and soon as daylight they shut down.

So when I caught these big females 2 weeks ago, it was at Coffman just off the road bed and the shad were in there.

I was once told to keep my head down and my mouth shut and do my job -
This bass was the second week of April on the point of Davis Cove across from High Point 4 pounder last year

Also this picture was taken up at Stockton with a 12-inch bass this Saturday morning and these fish were on the bank heading a war eagle towards High Point

I was so excited I had to pull over to the convenience store in Conway to take the picture

Not sure if I shared this but biggest trout I ever caught jan,20th on my birthday on the niangea river on boat ramp of Bennett springs. Was 23 inches long.

Now this is a man of character, I also help the wife with the dishes, nothing wrong in that.

Me to I'm on vacation Friday thru Tuesday looking forward to some crappie, maybe they will move up by this weekend, thanks for report.

You are correct on this, it's kind of a silly rule, but what you said is a fact. I don't think there are to many of us that could keep crappie in our freezer, without eating them all. or walleye. Lol -
So this is across highpoint ramp pic taken 3 weeks ago. Along this bank I found crappie staged in 15ft. Davis cove I found nothing on my lowrance, neither in Coffman cove either, as of yesterday. Now is anyone else finding crappie, I don't want a location I'm just wondering if anyone else also finds them in 12-15ft.

Went to church this morning then had family over for fish , I think I like watching everyone eat more than I do catching them.

Actually ran into some guys at highpoint that had a limit of crappie Saturday morning, said they started at 1:00 am and shut off just before daybreak. Guess the full moon. But I sure thought they would be biting early in the morning, I was wrong! !!!

White bass it is and it's good first time I have ever ate any I caught.

You are exactly right, that explains why I'm catching big females at highpoint, what is a good lure for whites instead of a swimming minnow?
