  1. Bought some new reels this past week so im cleaning out the boat and getting rid of the ones I haven't used or use very little. I have 4 up for grabs. One is a pinnacle matrix has only been used a couple of times. Has 15lb line spooled on it. I have a quantum octane that was my first baitcaster and has been used but is still in great shape. Has 15lb pline cx fluorescent on it. Then I have two brand new quantum baitcaster reels that are a bill dance edition. Have never been used both spooled with 15lb pline cx. Would like $55 each on the reels and I will pay the shipping to you. I cant upload pictures for some reason so if you would like to see them you can message me on here or text me at 816-752-6268
  2. Fishing was tough that's for sure. Seemed to have better luck when we launched out of joe bald. Water had probably 4-6' of visibility there even down to the Baxter area. We just couldn't figure out what they were wanting to bite on. We also didn't see a lot of fish on the finders either. Maybe we weren't in the right area but from what we are used to fishing it seemed like the perfect spots to fish.
  3. First time ever on TR was this past week. Showed up on 4/26 but didn't get out to fish until 4/27. As every one else has said water was very dingy with about a foot of visibility. My partner and I threw just about every thing we could think of from the Ned rig to crank baits to jigs. Just could not get bit. We launched from Indian point and fished there the first day and second morning. Second day evening we made our way to kimberling city and fished around the schooner creek area. Caught a few warmouth and one nice large mouth but the Ned came untied before it got to the boat. Friday we fished back in Indian point up the little North Indian creek. Caught 2 K's probably 14" long. Both came on the Ned rig again. Saturday morning we drove to joe bald and launched and ran to little Indian creek by Baxter. Caught 3 lm on a 3/16 oz jig head and grub. 3 fish in 5 hrs of fishing no keepers. Also had 5 or 6 war mouths there as well on the grub. Saturday evening we decided to fish docks back at Indian point. First stop was straight across from the marina around some brush piles and a rock face probably vertical 15 feet. Caught a nice lm 4lb 14oz on the same 3/16 jig head and smoke pepper grub. Not a real bad week but it could have been a lot better. All fish were caught in less then 15' of water.
  4. I lost a decent large mouth in the kimberling city area a couple days ago on a Ned rig. As soon as the fish surfaced and flopped the bait either came untied or broke at the knot.
  5. I ended up just calling them. No fee's to launch and they do have a cleaning station.
  6. What is a COE pass? Also does any one know if there is a place to clean fish there or should I plan on taking my table and cleaning them there for the few that I will keep to eat.
  7. Does any one know if it cost to launch at Indian point marina? We have decided to just stay at the TR some where on the lake and we ended up getting a room at Hunters Friend resort which is right across the street from Indian point marina so it will be a short trip but I cant find any thing that tells me if it will cost every day to launch the boat there or not.
  8. Hello all. I have been browsing the forums for a couple of months and finally decided to join to get some good insite on the lakes in south Missouri since you guys seem to be the best for them. I live in NW Mo about 60 miles from the Iowa boarder. I have family that lives in Willard, Forsyth, and Isabella. My family has been vacationing to south Missouri for the past 15 years or so and we have always stayed at Pontiac on bull shoals when we could camp. Now my parents own property in Isabella and are in the process of building a cabin to make it easier to enjoy the lake life. When I make my yearly fishing trip we normally go to bull shoals but we are stating to branch out and try the other lakes around the area. Table Rock being this years choice. I love to fish for large mouth and trout so I may have to give taneycomo a try some time as well.
  9. Thanks champ188. They just recently moved to williard from the northern springfield area but her husband was raised there so I will have to see if he knows them. I am leaning towards the aunts creek or Kimberling city.
  10. Thanks guys. I've been watching Pete wenners reports on YouTube for the past couple of months. I try to keep tabs on where he fishes and then look those places up on my map but since I'm not very familiar with the lake I have no idea where he is fishing. Im leaning towards kimberling city area since it would be about a 15 mile haul to the dam if we wanted to go that way or we could run another 15 miles the other way.
  11. Hey guys new to the forums here but some of the guys over at bass boat central sent me here to get a better answer on my question. My cousin and I are making our yearly trip to south Missouri. As of right now the plan is to bunk up at my sisters place in Willard and then drive to TR. Seems to be about an hour or so drive from mapping it out. Now im not asking for any bodys hot spots or things like that im just curious for this time of year and catching the spawn where the best place to launch the boat at. We have been looking at either Kimberling city or TR state park. Im just not familiar with TR as this will be my first time ever on the lake (normally we fish bullshoals in the spring). Any help would be appreciated.
