  1. KVD 1.5 is a deadly post spawn bait in areas where there are bream spawning & congregating.
  2. I forgot about that one Mitch. Do you know the diving depth? I know the 1.5 runs about 5-7ft deep

    Spawned?

They should be spawning again, but they don't follow the rules, you know. I saw another boat catching them left & right on spinner-bait in Rocky Branch on monday
  4. I'm hunting lightly used Falcon LowRiders & Cara T7 spinning rods
  5. KVD 1.5 is my standard model, painted in chameleon brown. Always remove the stock hardware & replace with mustad KVD elite EWGs & Spintechs(if I want slow rise) I will fish them in gin clear water on the windy cloudy days.
  6. We fished in between storms yesterday. Caught 44 bass in 4hrs. Mostly short largemouth & couple walleye. Ned Rig on Bluff banks I didn't see any shad or schooling fish. I cant figure out why there are no fish on the flat pea gravel points.
  7. of the boats you mentioned, which specific year models do you like the best? which year model 150 outboard do you prefer?
  8. Your viewpoint matters to folks that like "older model" boats that hold their value better than newer models. Sweat Equity Boats. What are Wrench's criteria/requirements in a good boat?
  9. You're report is spot on, man. I found the exact same thing yesterday. Rigging 8-12ft deep in 15-20 FOW. There's no point in fishing shallow. All that stuff has been hammered to death. Tuesday afternoon had as much fishing pressure & boat traffic as Memorial Day Weekend.
  10. We fished yesterday afternoon. Sunny & beautiful with lots of boater traffic. Water 61, greenish clear, light south wind. For some reason, we had no luck in spawning pockets. We did best on bluff banks. Ned Rig 8-15ft deep. I found a big school of fish in a spawning pocket. Sent the aquavu camera down to find it was 100 bluegill loosely gathered above a small brushpile. I spent way too much time trying to catch "bass" in that spot. The AquaVu doesn't lie. There are definitely some deep fish offshore, but ive gotta spend more time with the AquaVu to determine what I'm seeing on the down imager.
  11. I took a lengthy sabbatical from social media. I've missed this little corner of the internet
