I always use my live scope whenever I go fishing, I am very good at it. But today I have a question. I'm currently employing it with more old-school techniques, like using squarebills, etc. It seems that the new, dominant tournament anglers are not using such baits and are mainly focusing on the obviously new-school live scope baits, such as the damiki rig (minnow bait), jerkbait, wacky rig, etc. So, my question is: How do you know when to incorporate these newer style baits over the spinnerbait, square bill, and chatter bait? Is it as simple as only when the fish suspend?
