I was just wondering what the dates were this fall that the park is going to be closed.

I have a question. Now if I keep a piece of licorice in my fly box, is that making all my flies illegal? I have always done this as a matter of tradition and habit. It is a fact that trout ar attracted to the scent. Anyone?

I was down there yesterday morning and spoke to a couple of kids about their bait as I was leaving. They didnt give me any trouble, and asked me what they could use. In retrospect, I could of shown them how to use a fly with a spinning gear and bobber. Other than that it was a great morning on the water,the bows were rising to spiders drifted in the film. 10 brace found the net in 2 hours. I agree they were fighting harder than usual. Cant wait till next trip.

I agree, the lower water near the dairy farm looks fishy, but either gets too much pressure or is suffering from the drought. I was there in January on a warmer day for a little scouting and drifting. I did not see another soul fishing all day. Caught a few creek chubs but that was it. I didnt see a single bow rise. Even through a light hatch of no see ums. It is beautiful, and peaceful. Just thinking about it and I cant wait to get back. Kinda reminds me of the freestone creeks back home.

I am not pure as the snow, but I know the difference between catching fich on a fly rod and fly fishing. What the outlet people do would be better done with a weighted bobber, 6 lb mono, a worm and a broom handle.

Seth, There is a difference between catching trout on a fly rod and fly fishing. I say what you and your buddies were doing, and that aint fly fishing.

Hey fellas! How wadeable are the outlets with 4 generators? Has anyone fished crane creek this winter? Any info would be helpful.

Going down tomorow morning. See yall around 9:oo. I aint bringing a spinning rod so I hope there is enough area to backcast. Kinda hard to rollcast a size 6 bunny streamer. I have the tan chevey 4*4 with kansas vet tags.
