T, see what youve been missing! I love the lake at night, best during the week. Quite and calm, with hardly any of the annoying ones out boating around. Went last night, tried out a new rod. 7' carbon lite bps heavy action with microguides. Seems nice, not as ticklish as my falcons but for the money well worth it. Done well on good fish last night. Stayed windy all night and the bite was slow for us.

Bigred is correct. I am sick of hearing that "we are going to have nascar races in branson in a couple years". Wish people would try to actually know what they are talking about before they open their pie holes.

Not much different than everyone else, we just hit a school of big'ens that wanted to eat. The best pointer I can give anyone right now is hunt. Hunt until you get bite then sit down and run a sein throu the area. Catching them on everything right now, the problem is to find them. And when you do, more than likely they will not be there tomorrow. Millcreek friday niters have some if not the best competition as for night fishermen on TR. I have watched many of the boats pull rabbits out of their hats. Seems to never be the same boats winning, very even. Respectable guys. Next event, Friday August 5th. 7:30pm to 1:30am. Only need four good bites as its only a four fish limit. Two guys, four fish, sounds easy right. Least of all you get time on the water when its not 105 degrees (well, maybe at take-off).

It happens. Only reason Im posting the tourney news is that Joe Gettle asked me to do it. He wants to advertise some more. Told him there are some great guys on here and that Im on all the time so he asked me to keep it posted with results. Great derby to fish, and so much fun to fish when its to hot to fish during the day.
