    DD75: About 2/3 weeks ago the water level was up about 8" which is about what normal was until about 5 years ago when the rains stopped being normal. Keep an eye on Weavers web, they should be posting something soon about water conditions with opening day coming up soon. www.missouritrout.com/weavers/ Just checked their opening day report is up showing water level up 2" with good tint for fishing.

    Phil: Nice pictures! What model of camera were you using? I have a new Pentax Optio W 20 have not had a chance to try underwater . Now they have already come out with the Optio W30 good to 10 feet underwater .

    My father Bob Hurt will have lung surgery for cancer on March 14th in Houston Texas. At the age of 83 he has been blessed with good health, which enabled him to be a candidate for lung surgery. My family appreciate the past prayers concerning his medical conditon.

    I guess I missed the "click on" part of Dano's post , then as I looked at the other post I was wondering "what are they are they talking about" I remember the first time I fished Taney at night,couldn't see nothing and every little noise I heard made me wonder "What was that" WELL! maybe I did hear the "Big Ol Squid of Taneycomo" :ph34r:

    Davey: Thanks for the information. A group (8) of us go to Norfork river every year in March/April for 5 days. I'm the only fly-fisherman in the group, all the others are bait fishermen. Yes! they pick on me, but also allow me in the boat when running water. I KNOW we stay at one of the docks you are talking about, and YES it would be greatly affected. I understand both sides of the issue! If they don't solve the run off from Overlook Estates they might have to start stocking MUD CATS

    There is a state camp grounds just below the dam, never stayed there but looks nice Don't know about showers/restrooms I have seen numerous tents on site
