A week ago I witnessed the walleye in Swan creek by the hundreds and they disappeared. I figured they spawned out. Well 2 days ago my son caught a walleye that spawned out. Last night I caught 2 that had spawned out. Also lost 2 for sure walleye last night too. With a few whites mixed in. Soo finally I've been able to catch a few. Everyone I've talked to has had a hard time catching any walleye. Maybe now they'll start biting decently. All fish came from between barker hole and the dam.

Me and my son went again last night. He ended up catching 5 and I got my limit again by 9:00 Fish didn't seem to be hitting as aggressive as before but there were lots in there. Lots of people were catching a few.

It's not a secret. Purple swimming minnow with a plain jig head after dark.

I think releasing the otters was great. I trap for a living during the winter and it gives an extra animal to catch. Me and my dad caught 42 this past season south of springfield a little ways. They will clean out fish though. They're very efficient at what they do.

Me and my son went last night. He's 11. I caught a limit of whites again by 8:45 plus a few extras I released waiting for him to finish. He caught 4. We gave a few away as we was leaving. Went across from Swan and caught 1 on river run side.

sshhhh... there's a couple people who still don't know. swimming minnows after dark will get a limit pretty quickly.

How does everybody like the new sewer plant? Smelling everybody's poop from Forsyth all evening while trying to fish is about to get to me. Was down there last night for 30 mins and couldn't hardly take it any longer. Anybody from here been down and smelled it yet?

For those who haven't been told yet. Swan was loaded with white bass yesterday. 2 of us left at 8:30 last night with 2 limits of whites. All above 160.

Yes I was down Slough Hollow Rd. Just look for all the cars and you'll find the fish. I went last night. Friday with a friend and we ended up catching 17 whites. Little ones during the day and big sows after dark. Waders are useful too to help reach the fish sometimes.

i went last night to beaver creek and caught 9 whites and a small walleye. Lots of people fishing. Not a lot of fish. Finally found a spot and 2 other guys caught 29 beside me. they had waders. I didn't. Fish were way out in the channel it seemed.

i seen the river earlier and its muddy and almost out of the banks. I'd say it's done til the water clears up.

For those who don't know yet. The white bass are up to Longs Camp and to McCord Bend. Maybe even farther up the Blunks. I've yet to get a limit but have seen others catching quite a few at Longs Camp. Fishing off the bank too. Also caught some short crappie around too.

Me and another guy went down to the dam last night. Fished from 5:30 til around 7:30. I caught 1 small fish and had 1 bite. the other guy had no bites or catches. We were both using rogues and soft plastics. The water was very swift until they shut the water off about the time we left.

Me and my son went last night between the dam and Swan creek. Caught 3 whites and a keeper walleye. Went up Swan and looked and there's some whites upstream now, but not a lot. Seen some guys trolling in the lake and watched a few get caught too after dark.

Both areas. I just try to move around till I find some. But doesn't always work.

I caught 2 more walleye last night, both had spawned out.

I caught a 25 1/2 incher last night that had spawned out and had bloody egg sacks. She was still bleeding from her spawning.

They've planted a few food plots around too, on top of Bear mountain.

Well at first I used the trusty ole white slider, and after a while of nothing and watching others catching I looked closer to what they were using and swithed to a short rapala minnow and within a minute had a couple hits and misses. After dark I used a swimming minnow, but the best bite was by far before dark.

Well I think I'm the last person to know, or nobody from here fishes there. I got to the whisles about 6:30 last night and there were a ton of people there. Lots of people with white bass on the stringer, but they were mostly males. It was nice to finally get into some whitebass though. It seems they turned off right before dark mostly. I left with 8 at 8:30, but probably would have had my limit if I'd gotten there earlier.

Actually I'm at my aunt's house on her computer. I've been too cheap, or poor to fix it. Deer season went pretty well. I didn't get a deer during gun season, but I got a very nice 10 point buck 2 days before firearms season with my bow. It was quite an ordeal, but after was all said and done it got scored at exactly 160 inches. How about you? Did you get that big Orchard buck? ttyl
