once i get more practice with fly casting i have to get me some of those PMS's i keep hearing you talkin about.. if i could just tie my wife on the life and cast her i could catch a record brown lol.. shes got enough PMS for the whole darn lake and the killer Squid lol man im glad she dont get on here lol or i would be hooked and gutted and cooked lol LA

i have a lift that was for our 21ft Crownline ski boat and it had no problem lifting it .. its a vhull.. i can find out the lifting rates if you are interested but its in Clinton Lake Lawrence Kansas LA

well white and char have always worked for me.. our group seems to have a lot of luck off the dock with corn.. man less than 24 hours and i will on the road headin that way for Fri thru mon.. wish my group had tues off like i do lo l LA

i have used the nibblet trick for Trout fishing at Taney for 7+ yrs.. had some in my tackle bag and was a slow day on the lake and thought why not.. like my father always says its the "Presentation" thats key lol.. i hear this every time he reties his line lol so many times over the weekend lol i also found the last couple years when using power bait.. i usually use white and Char. and even add a power worm .. caught some really good fighters drifting that the last 2 years LA

i went out and picked some up a coule months ago to get used to them LA

i dont know if its 13 months that they expire or if its end of Feb no matter when you buy it or not.. i know in Kansas its Dec 31st no matter when you buy it.. BLAH .. that sucks in my opinion.. sucks to hear about that fly fisherman breakin his pole but made me laugh also.. i have been there before lol .. i was out spin fishing for bass with my brother and some other people.. and i was using my favortie pole and spinner and my brother asked if he could try it out.. so i let him and on the first cast that SOB casted so hard it broke the end 8 inchs down and lodged the spinner in a tree lol all in one motion.. i cut the eye outlets off and kept fishin but lets just say hes not allowed to use my stuff anymore lol LA

yeah i did some lookin online and found some info on the reel and you are correct. cant find any info on the rod but im not expecting to fetch money for it but just curious on the time frame it was made ... just kinda cool in my opinion. i like vintage or antique stuff even more so when its still useable lol.. and i plan on fishin it till it doesnt work anymore lol.. first thing i thought of was man if this thing could talk.. would love to hear the story behind it but will never know so i will make my own.. LA

well my wife and her daughter and I just moved into our new house and i was walking the dog and noticed that the house behind just had been "cleaned out" and all the "trash" was layin at the curb.. got to lookin through cause well im a redneck lol and found a fishing net and a cooler and some other stuff.. was like cool.. the next day when i had more light i was walkin the dog again and noticed a fishin pole stickin out of the pile .. thought its problably some old pos pole.. well to my surprise it was an old fly pole with reel.. pulled it out and got a better look.. now i know nothing bout fly poles or reels and am just gettin into them so anything that works is good for me lol its an "American 1029" pole and a #76 Ocean City reel with line on it.. may not be much but will get me some practice until i can afford better lol and two weeks before my fishing trip to Taney to top it off lol LA

i buy one every other trip cause they are good till the end of the month that you bought them.. i bought one last Feb and mines good till Feb 28th 2008.. LA

if i didnt have a Serious Rod Knock i would be all over it.. could make the 4 hour trip in about 2 lol.. but with the motor knockin over 2k on the tach i dont think so lol would be a long trip at 35mph lol will be in my dads F150 white with white camper shell and mangled front bumper with MO plates lol.. if you see us up around the darn stop by and say hi.. im a heavy set guy with red gottee... LA

cant wait.. we come down next Friday morning.. im gonna have to get a light fly tackle goin cause i got a free rod and Fly reel.. LA

well we are gonna try some spinfishing up there but if its busy we will just wait.. not tryin to step on anybodies toes.. just wanna catch fish and have fun like the rest of ya LA

no.. it has a knock in the motor from the last KC MOFBA.ORG Rally... did a few to many burntouts with drag slicks for a motor that was needing a rebuild.. but im gonna build my new race motor have always wanted to drive it down though.. one year.. maybe next LA

ok thanks.. something like marabous or a panfish style jig?? thanks .. instead of sittin around and playin poker and lossing money lol after dinner we are gonna head up to the darn at least one night and exp it.. i would exetremely happy to just catch one fish up there. dont care what size lol .. always heard stories of how hard it is to catch in the trophy area.. gotta at least try lol and where would you recommend jig fishing up there?? very nice.. i cant wait to get down there.. i know i wont have near as many hit and lands as the fly guys but im gonna do my best using jigs and flys on a spinner .. its all i got lol LA
