  2. Depending on the bottom a jigging spoon has worked for me a few times be sure to use a stout line

  7. I live at the back end of Big creek and we have three or four docks broke loose no major damage to them as far as I saw

  9. Amen to that,if it works dont fix it, Read somewhere that David Fritts sometimes goes through 50 or 60 of the same crankbait to get one that works what he thinks is rightso if ya got a good un keep the plug knocker handy
  10. Ah the wiggle wart, now is that the old style,the old new style or the new old style wiggle wart? I have some of each and really feel the "original" baits work better. I have a box of em that only come out during tournaments or when my buddy is giving me a lesson. there is just something about em.

  17. I would think that on a lake where cover is at a premium at best this would be a good idea, but as the devil's advocate it is the government doing this.
  18. Amen to the commercial "get your dollar" aspect and yes the weight below has been around for years. I hhave even resorted to tying a slip knot on bass sinkers in a pinch Bet you remember poodle skirts and pony tails too.
  19. I fished the Homer Sloan also drop shot up around the Baxter area caught a lot of very short fish and only two keepers, o well another day on the Rock. A plus however my partner saved my life, at the dinner no less, I choked on the steak and he had to hug me a bit to dislodge it. I suppose I will have to fish with him again.

  25. Has any one tried any swim baits on our puddle ? When and where would you use them? Hve a buddy who is completly rabid over them and was wondering is the expensive dearlings were worth it here
