OK OK it is oficially hot, any of you Grand lakers that have any connections, it would be nice to have a cloud cover wind about ten to fifteen and high temps in the 80's , The dates for this request are the 1st and 2nd of August. I will understand if this does not work out
  5. My full agreement always always check the cheap stuff first
  6. Techno If its not a bare wire you might check to see if the pigtail from the vehicle has power, some have a convertor box that is built to fail before the light system on the vehicle. a simple test light will work

Am fishing the heartland team tourney on aug 2nd am not at all familiar with the lake would like some help as to where to start. deep, shallow points, coves, docks, have checked fishing reports from various sources and need the input this forum always supplies thanks
  13. Fished the Grand arm , heartland team in June. Caught fish in about 5 feet of water on 45 to 55 degree sloping bank, near main lake points, What we didn't do was adjust later in the day to fish the deeper fish in these points. we used a 10 inch black and red berkley worm, rigged black side down. Heard that a dd22 and deep jigs were the ticket, hope this is some help, let us know how you did.
  14. I like the jig thump followed by the freight train for deep water, these usually result in lost fish for me but it means there is another one close.
  15. Great job!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Looking for a ride to Grand Lake on Wednesday the 30 th, might also need a ride home on Sat 8/2 after the Heartland team tournament, will share gas of course. email macsplace2003@yahoo.com Thanks
  17. Take off is at Long Shoal marina I assume the weigh in is there too
  18. Heard Skeeter boats cancelled on Truman, not verified info however, cant be much worse than the last two on the Rock,
  19. Shaker the tournament is on Truman lake the other side of the dam, gramd ,osage and pomme arms that feed LOZ
  20. Just the team as far as I know now, going to be interesting to say the least, going up on Wed so might have time to figure it out
  21. Good luck have "fished" for Truman lake info and have yet to gather any useable info, the best I can offer is to check out www.sterettcreek.com/fishing.,seems to be the best info I can find. Will also be at Truman for the Heartland team tournament Look me up
  22. Thank you sir for the correct information on this I knew someone here would know
  23. It is my understandin that stste law in missouri mandates that all gasoline must be 10% ethanol, correct me if I m wrong
  24. I fished the Heartland team derby on Saturday and found the fish at the depths you mentioned and had to resort to Carolina rigging a tube bait to get bit, bad thing it took till noon for our brains to conclude this so it cut deeply into our fishing time. We managed 4 keepers on the shortened day, but you can bet a rig will remain a bit closer to the front of our minds in the future. Keep after em
  25. Oh !!! GOODY!!! Uncle Phil more home movies
