  4. I dont see a problem with closing spring from twin bridges to kansas line I think it will help the pop but I feel it would serve better to close fishing mon-wed and open it thur fri sat sun this would allow the out of state guys 4 days over a weekend. I see that as being better for the state as opposed to closing on mod and fri.

  11. Not much longer till the run begins cant wait have heard that they may be in staging pattern now was wondering what info is out there.
  12. I dont feel people are looking are the real problem, I have seen what the chicken operations can do to a stream or river as well as a lake. I love roaring river and am there many time a year, Lets look at what the cafos have done else where in missouri and oklahoma. I was raised on Grand lake and elk river, and years ago before the cafos elk river was crystal clear but when the cafos moved in the river is now one of the most disgusting rivers around. go to noel missouri below the dam and look at what is being put in there it will make you upchuck. and then we have the algea bloom on grand that is lovely during the summer months, but dont worry table rock will soon have the same look. so much for table rock being a clear lake for tourism, but we must move over for big buisness so that big money can be made in missouri

  17. i was just wondering if anyone could tell me if any catfish or spoonbill are being caught around sail boat or paradise lookin at planing a trip tomorrow and was just wondering where we should maybe look at going. gettin that feelin ready for those bills to start movin.
  18. the reason for the construction was because there had been nothing done to the dam since the CCC construction in the 30s or 40s, and the dams were in bad shape, had washed out under the stones and the lake walls were leaking and in bad shape. they need to improve the hachery so they can hopefully increase the production and that will be better for all of us. it was not about them haveing money these construction had been bugeted for several years, and were are luck they recieved the money, roaring river is a wonderful place and just hope they keep improving so that more can enjoy for many years. If we dont help today there will be nothing for our grand children tommorow.
  19. They added sidewalks along in front of the falls, added stairs on the south end of the short wall also some steps on North end by hatchery to access the top of the dam, also they dropped a pipe into cave to pull water to hatchery, also new gates on dams, getting away from old 2x4 method, also coated inside of runways, to try to stop leaks. It looks great and hope to see alot of people getting to enjoy fishing down there. P.S. Hope to see everyone down there Next Wed. on opening.
