I like that!!! I always went the cheaper way with the camo burlap. I always just used local branchs from where ever I was. I really like the grass you put on there. Where did you get that?? Hobby Lobby??

Might I suggest Hip Waders. I use them from mid to late Oct through March or April while floating. I think it is the best, most comfortable way to go. I tried chest waders a couple of times and it was just really uncomfortable. And go ahead and hit the water you wuss. I am headed out here in few to do a float. Its 45* here this morning. I'll be wearing my hip waders too. This has to be the earliest I have ever had to get them out!!

You left no reason to assume you prayed for their well being. I'm sure if you had the concern and compassion that you are now trying to make us believe you have for these folks, you or your church would have offered temporary assistance. There is another thread floating around here talking about patriotism in this country. I don't think we have lost our patriotism in this country but, we sure have lost looking out for one another. I do. I have used Crystal Fireline for about 10 yrs now. I really like it. I am going to switch to Sufix 832 once I use all the Fireline. I have tried Power Pro twice. I know you like it and have great results with it. I have had nothing but trouble with it.

Exactly! I have read a ton of fishing, hunting stories that you only know the state they are in. And that is enough. Let them paint the settings in your mind and go from there. Its your picture, enjoy it. I don't have to know the exact spot that I may or may not ever go to except in my mind.

So I post up some ULTRALIGHT tackle options. Al posts right behind me dismissing everything I just posted while stating it won't work on his waters. Well, the OP didn't ask about Al's waters. He simply asked for info on ULTRALIGHT tackle. So I call him on it. Which is what we do to one another. I call him out, he calls me out. Its nothing personal between us. Get one of those hooks with what looks like netting. Can't think of what they call them right now. Now I will say when I first started seeing these, I thought, there is no way I am using these. Well I fish the Missouri myself with my uncle, who fishes it all the time for cats. He used these, so I did too. And man do they work!!! So I would look at investing into a pack of these.

Yeah we have been there a couple of times. Not one of my favs for fishing. Maybe I have just caught it on bad days. Which I truely believe can and does happen. I have days on water that I fish regulary and it just plain sucked!! But a few days later, its on like Donkey Kong! I have some floats on its big brother that I have been looking at doing. Dang it Al, you've gone and ruined another good battle! There is truth in what you are saying. We must remember though, the reason you may be catching a ton of those dinks is because that is about all that is in there. Your larger, breeding size if you will, fish will be fewer and farther between just because of the smaller size stream. It is just the nature of the beast. And what good is a casting rod going to do on smallwater like that? I'll tell you one time Corndawg and I was wading a very small stream that never gets more than about 20 feet wide or more than about 4' in the deepest hole. The whole fishable portion of the stream is not more than about 2 miles in length. So we parked at this one bridge and made our way up stream. Didn't get much but had some fun. We worked our way back and there is one section about 40 yrds long that was only just above my ankles and had some rocks just a little bigger than basketballs here and there in it. I just walked on through it. Corndawg was about 10 yrds behind me and hollers that he has one. I look back and he is fighting a good one. He gets it landed and it is all of 2 - 2 1/4 pound smallmouth!! Where the heck did that come from!! It was absolutely unbelievable the water it came from! We'll get in a trip or two some day when you ain't jet setting all over the place fishing!!
